Crystal Dragon

This restaurant is fabulous! The staff are really friendly and were so quick to help. Make sure you order the Crystal Dragon platter to start - it's gorgeous!

Crystal Dragon – Plymouth
Pasta & Pizza Bar

I really enjoyed going to this restaurant. The menu was very extensive, particularly for pasta. They also offer a wide-range of food from the grill, just incase you aren't a fan of pizza or pasta. It can get very busy though, so book in advance

Pasta and Pizza Bar – Plymouth
Black Dog Inn

Being an old residence of Black Dog for fourteen years, fourteen years ago. My Boyfriend and I still come to the pub. We enjoy the food immensely. We're so grateful to you both.

Black Dog Inn – Crediton
Rodean

Beautiful family run restaurant ideal for that special occasion. Food cooked to perfection and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Take your time (you will not be rushed) to savour the delights of this little gem

Rodean – Exeter
Diggers Rest The

We chose to go to The Digger's Rest purely spontaneously as it was close to home and we fancied a pub meal. We were very mistaken the food well exceeds a 'pub lunch'. It has become now one of our favourite restaurants. Friendly staff, great food, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all at a very reasonable price what more could you ask for!?

Diggers Rest The – Exeter
Jasmine Restaurant

fantastic

Jasmine Restaurant – Yelverton
Al-Farid

Really tasty food, the mixed grill was excellent. Staff always friendly. I felt they went a bit overboard on some of the decor (almost verging on tacky) on what is overall a really cosy and relaxed restaurant (especially downstairs). I'd go there far more often but their drinks, particularly the beer, are so expensive.

Al Farid – Exeter
Gandhi Indian Cuisine The

We get takeaways from here at least once a week but occasionally eat in. The vegetable side dishes are our favourites, and the chicken tikka rogon is very tasty.

Gandhi Indian Cuisine The – Exeter
Boringdon Arms

The food here is marvelous, deliciously home-cooked and at very affordable prices. The menu itself is quite small, however they have daily specials on the chalk board to suit all tastes (lamb tagine, fish pie, hotpot etc), and are all keenly priced. The cod, chips and mushy peas is huge and costs less than £6!

Boringdon Arms – Plymouth
Deer Park Hotel

great super outstanding hotel lovely food .

Deer Park Hotel – Honiton
Fullam Chinese Restaurant

Well worth it. The most attentive restaurant I have been to in a long time! I hope other restaurateurs learn from a place like this

Fullam Chinese Restaurant – Barnstaple
Olive Tree The

Now under new owners and what was a good establishment is now very good. The standard of food and service has improved and I feel that this might be due to the fact that the staff are enjoying life better under the new owners. I await with baited breath to see if they might turn the cellar into a wonderful wine bar using some of Rogers expertise.

Olive Tree Restaurant – Exeter
La Petite Maison

Took friends to this restaurant and had a really delightful time. Gordon and staff cooked what can only be described as a dream meal. Liz and staff complimented everything by excellent service. The comments by my guests on leaving were "That was the best meal they have had in this country" and I do not doubt it.

La Petite Maison – Topsham
Bearslake Inn

Three of us just spent the weekend at the Bearslake, and came away feeling sad we were going back to the real world. The place is full of old world charm, comfort, good food, ale & wine. All served up by a family that have been obviously born with the 'friendly' gene! Evening meals were plentiful and tasty and everything freshly cooked - the menu appears to change daily depending on what is available. Breakfast is delicious with proper fried bread (not the greasy deep fried stuff you quite often get). The rooms where very cosy and comfortable and we really felt welcome. The owners always found time to chat with a smile and couldn't do enough for us. Defintely want to go back!

Bearslake Inn – Okehampton
Jalapeno Peppers

Since the new management took over in Spring 2004, our former favourite restaurant has become our favourite once again! The best little bar in North Devon, coupled with superb and imaginative food and an intimate, candlelit atmosphere. We love it.

Jalapeno Peppers – Barnstaple
Waterfront, The

Go and try the Pizza now! Go on; get up from your seat and go! This is the perfect place for group bookings! Pizza dominates the menu, but that? all you need really! Wonderful atmosphere for a kid? party right up to a works leaving do! Can't go wrong!

Waterfront, The – Exeter
Big Sheep The

The big sheep is a family park and their restaurants in the play area. There is a good variety of food at good prices. You can let your kids play while you order and then when it is ready they come down to a tasty dinner or lunch. However the tea and coffee taste a little of hotdogs. The service was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing.

Big Sheep The – Bideford
Mutley Spice

What can I say? The family and I went, very good food, the staff are very friendly I can? say anymore. Alan Parker

Mutley Spice – Plymouth
