Green Tree Hotel The – CrookVery Nice, Tasty. Yum =]
Pizza Roma – DurhamThe Mill House is a fantastic themed restaurant, within the Jazz and Funk era, boasting classical and local ambience. A must when your taking a lady out for a pleasant evening of cool!
Mill House – Chester-le-StreetA veggie heaven in a the Teesside veggie desert. Been going years but has improved over the last couple of years. Sadly no longer BYO and doesn't do the combo main courses but I would recommend it to any veggie or non-veggie.
Waiting Room The – Stockton-On-TeesWhen we visited the Seaton Lane Inn we were warmly greeted by the owner Adrian Marshall and immediately made to feel we were the most welcome of his guests. We chose a meal from the day's special which was monkfish in a ginger/oyster sauce; monkfish being one of our favourite dishes. The meal was excellent and was served with a delicious array of freshly cooked vegetables. It was as good. if not better, as any meal we'd had which includes starred restaurants. Stop here if you want a delightful culinary experience.
Seaton Lane Inn – Seahambistro 21 has very friendly staff and the food is outstanding the service is good although it was a bit pricey but I suppose if you want quality food you have to pay for it! I highly recommend this restaurant and its very good for formal parties.
Bistro 21 – DurhamThis is a very cosy and friendly place. The chef makes outstanding food (the parsnips are my favourite.) and there is always enough to make you feel full but not uncomfortable. With two real fires this is a great place to snuggle up in the winter with a pint of your favourite beer. Brilliant.
The Black Horse Beamish – StanleyWe have eaten here on numerous occasions. It remains one of our firm favourites. Excellent food, wine list and great ambience. Highly recommended
Seaham Hall Hotel – SeahamIt was a lovely calm atmosphere and the food tasted amazing too they also do a mean Sunday roast. They treat the customers nicely and the waitresses are really polite. I recommend this restaurant to any one!
Green Tree Hotel The – CrookThe church mouse is a really friendly pub with a warm country feel to it, the staff are warm and helpful, it? lovely to snuggle up next to a real fire with a loved one. Would highly recommend you visit.
Church Mouse The – Chester-le-StreetThe ambience of this new pub is lovely and with all the different side rooms it gives a cozy feel. The food was fresh paninis which were really good for a light bite. This is definitely a great friendly town centre pub and nothing like the other town centre pubs.
Slaters Arms The – DarlingtonWe dined he on the 3rd November 2006 and had a very enjoyable evening. The meals were freshly prepared and tasted divine (Sirloin Steak and Chicken Veronique). The drinks were reasonably priced and the no smoking atmosphere a pleasure. A bonus was the entertainment provided in the main bar area from 9pm onwards. This is a regular event every Friday night and FREE. (Dave Black entertained us with a number of classics from the 70s and 80s', playing both the guitar and the saxophone). Highly recommended and will definitely become a regular Friday night out for ourselves.
Three Horseshoes Inn The – DurhamThe best food and hosts money can buy! Mammoth menu and all fresh! Think I am going to build a house next door to it and live there every night! The beers good as well. p.s try the ribs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mint. But book early as they fill up quick. Full for Xmas in August!
Bridge Inn – DarlingtonTwo evening meals for £8. Best value ever Sunday lunch fantastic book early.
Green Tree Hotel The – CrookWe have visited Krimo's twice on our visits from Coventry and have found it excellent both times.
Krimo’s Restaurant – HartlepoolAn absolute pleasure to stumble across the a la carte restaurant nestled at the back of the pub! will definitely be going back!
Bay Horse Inn – DarlingtonWe eat here at least once a month and receive fantastic no frills food at a good price. The staff are great....especially Louise who you feel that you have known her all your life. A true family business that looks after their customers. Try it once and you will be back again.
