The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterMatt & Dan (locally sourced and in no particular order) the dream team. Everything just works at this venue, the service is always spot on and much better than most these days. Food fab, beer great, wine even better, entertainment always a winner, no pretense, old skool vibe where clients come first, always fun place to visit...keep it up team!
Skylark Social – ColchesterAbsolutely fantastic pub with great atmosphere and amazing staff
The Ship Gidea Park – RomfordThis is an unpretentious, traditional village pub. The place is welcoming and the service is very good. The menu offers a range to suit most people without being fussy gastro pub fare. We were given plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed meal. Value for money was very good. Highly recommended.
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneWent to The Barn for breakfast and it was delicious! The garden center was beautiful to look around after. Service was great and prices reasonable.
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterVery nice meal- usual excellent service & good atmosphere Only issue was one of the poached eggs was covered in Hollandaise sauce which I do not like and I didn’t notice it on menu as it was quite small writing - maybe should be made more obvious but otherwise no complaints
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterBeautiful setting, warm atmosphere, service excellent. Food superb with a lot of choice.

The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneAlways a joy to dine at at The Dukes. Such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and the food absolutely delicious!
The Dukes Head – Bishops StortfordThe Salmon en croute was tasty but the veg too few and over salted. Fish and Chips very good. The service was rather slow on this occasion with it taking 50 mins for dinner to arrive. It’s quite hard to get the staffs attention but when you do they are very pleasant. We’ve been a few times and I’m sure will return. I love the Bhudda Bowl dish but fancied a change today
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterI have been here a few times before but unfortunately yesterday was not the best experience. We ordered 2 open sandwiches, although they tasted very nice for £15 each we found it just to small. 1 slice of bread with salmon on it, no side salad or a handful of crisps nothing, we left feeling hungry. For a cafe, I think these prices are high and insufficient amount of food, unfortunately we shall not be returning
