Lovely setting. Good food and choices. Staff courteous.

Food was lovely and well presented, staff were friendly albeit a little rushed. Drinks took a while to come but were delicious when they got there!

Nice place , service just a little bit slow and.while the food was top notch can’t help but think one slice of good quality beef was a tad skimpy

Lovely quirky restaurant Great decor. Food was lovely. They catered for six fussy woman will no problem. Good to support these independent restaurants too. Keep the good work up.

My 2nd visit to the Cafe in a week, once with old work friends & then again with my Husband. The atmosphere in the Cafe is lovely, especially at the current time with the Christmas tweek to the the interiors. The menu is very accommodating with things for all tastes from coffee & snacks to a full lunch menu so something for everyone. Nicely cooked & quickly delivered & at a very reasonable price. We were on a table for two but I could see tables for 6, 8 & 10 so accommodation for groups of all sizes. A heart recommendation & a garden centre & gift shop as part of the deal!

Absolutely excellent meal & superb atmosphere, and will be more than willing to visit again :-) The only small issue is the same as when we previously visited......the main meal & drinks are served within good time (10 minutes), but we had to make several requests for the dessert menu.......both at the counter and passing waitress. It was 12 minutes before we was handed one. It comes over that there is a reluctance to oblige. Again the dessert was excellent.

This is the second meal in a row where the standard has really dropped. My meal was bad bad value for money and 50% was fat--not edible. The quantity was pathetic. Our friend was barely able to cut hers with a steak knife and my partner said there was little or no taste. What has happened???

We are 3 friends who often enjoy going to The Barn for a catch-up. Scrambled eggs on gf toast and toasted teacakes are our choices, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Had Sunday lunch with my daughter as a well earned girly treat. Beautiful meal. Very tasty. Vegetables were lovely - not over cooked. Great place for just a coffee or family get together.

My sister and I visited The Ship for a roast dinner. We love an old fashioned pub. I had not eaten at The Ship before. I would certainly eat there again. We had an excellent experience. From the time we arrived we received really good service. It is very rare nowadays to get excellent service. All the staff were attentive and polite. The roast dinner was excellent. The portion was good. It was hot and really tasty. Keep up the great service. Thank you.

Lovely place to eat and usually a great choice of food. I went there Sunday with my friend and the menu was extremely limited. I won’t go again on a Sunday for this reason. Food was ok but the ‘vegan roast dinner’ consisted of just potatoes and vegetables- no protein on the plate. Disappointing but I will just stick to weekday visits now.

Not impressed at all. The place was crazy busy, so many screaming kids. Table not ready. Made to feel rushed when we did sit down. Too top things off the food was rubbish, the Brockley & potatoes were hard! Not going back.

My husband and I had a delicious Sunday lunch here yesterday My roast chicken was tender and the vegetables delicious My husband’s fish and chips was crisp and very tasty I just felt the staff were under a lot of pressure as it was so busy It is very noisy in the cafe but I guess that’s because it was so busy

Perfect little local snug spot, yummy vegan food, fab service and lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again.
