The barn cafe is my go to place for lunch with friends, food is fab, staff always cheery and of course a great garden centre to add to the experience

Enjoyable breakfast as usual with plenty of choices . Restaurant very crowded yesterday but staff ran around efficiently as usual .

Breakfast was very good , but the staff were very unfriendly, delayed taking orders and serving the food . I felt that the staff were all stressed and does not how to handle large groups!

We held a special birthday party with around 35 people, although there was plenty of room for more. We had the restaurant and the outside patio area which was beautiful with lots of shade as it was a hot day. Everything was perfect the staff were very attentive and helpful the food was outstanding- the whole thing couldn’t have been better. We had a local guy who sang for a couple of hours he was great - picked by Tom Jones on The Voice. Thank you Jane for making the whole thing happen we had the best time.

As a vegetarian visiting the area I was very happy to have stumbled upon Stoked….and it didn’t disappoint. So refreshing to find plant based food that’s been thought about rather than the bog standard fare that I could cook better at home. When I go out to eat I want something delicious that I don’t cook for myself and that’s what we got. The meat eaters in our group agreed. Service and ambiance superb, relaxed but attentive, cosy but private and then there’s the cocktails…made to your specific taste. Service and attention to detail, like this, is hard to come by, it was a culinary experience at a very affordable price. We love, love, loved it and our only regret is that we don’t live closer!

Had never been to the Bakers Arms so wasn’t sure what to expect. The menu was great and the food was delicious -plenty of it. My husband had the pie and said it was one of the best he’s tasted. We had no room for a dessert unfortunately. All the staff were very friendly. We will definitely return.

Lovely breakfast as always! If you are vegan you are a bit limited to what you can have, but none the less the vegan breakfast is my favourite and a great take on a classic! Always love coming here!

Had the braised pork shoulder with papparadelle pasta in a lemon and herb sauce. The meat was tasty and tender, the sauce had a nice hint of citrus and the portion size was ideal for a lunchtime treat. Our waitress was attentive. All in all a very pleasant lunchtime.

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to, food is amazing and it’s just a perk that it’s vegan. Service is always excellent and can never fault the quality. Have recommended and will continue to recommend to everyone I know.

We had a lovely family meal at the Bakers Arms. The quality of the food and the choices were excellent, as was the service. We are looking forward to returning.

Food was beautiful. As non-vegans we did not miss the meat. Music was a tiny bit too loud and food/beer on the pricier side, but as a treat, it was worth it.

Yet another delicious lunch , we all had the Asian salad, two of us with chicken one with smoked salmon - we all really enjoyed our meals and would not hesitate to recommend the Barn cafe.

Had a lovely breakfast here with a friend. Eggs Benedict was very nice. Lovely atmosphere, wasn't too busy at 9.30am. Service was a little slow when ordering a second round of drinks but that was the only negative. Staff friendly. Nice shop to mooch around in afterwards.

Food is was incredible. By far the best roast I’ve ever had! The ultimate cauliflower cheese as well was lovely.
