The atmosphere in the anchor is so friendly and the staff can’t do enough for you , the food was perfection and although we had a wait between starters and main course is was nice to catch up with friends we had not seen for 10 years can’t thank you enough will definitely return in the new year

Great Christmas Meal for 10 of us on a Friday night. Good food, great service, we will all be back. A slight confusion over pre-ordered starters was quickly resolved. Catered for Gluten Free too. Thanks very much.

As always the food was piping hot and plenty of it.dont know how they do it for the price tbh very tasty food and my favourite was the banana and custard mmmmmm see you again soon definitely recommend it

We enjoyed an excellent lunch for our first visit to the Barn Cafe. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was very tasty. Great chocolate cake too and one slice was big enough to share!

Celebrated my son's birthday. Plenty of food, fresh and warm, always replenished when it starts to run out. Good food if you like Chinese and Indian cuisine, but also great pasta, pizza, fruit and cakes. I recommend. It's just a shame that the staff doesn't smile much.

Fish and chips are amazing Succulent fish, light batter and crispy tasty fat chips.

We met for our Xmas get together 9 of us we pre ordered our meals and the food came out perfect hot, delicious plenty of vegetables as well, staff are always great and our ladies tonight were perfect happy to take photos excellent evening thank you and merry Christmas to you all

We had our annual Christmas lunch with our friends and it was really lovely. Easy to book, beautifully decorated and service was excellent. Delicious food and great value for money. Looking forward to going for breakfast in the New Year.

We had our annual staff (15 people) Christmas Lunch yesterday, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and we received a warm welcome. The staff looked after us very well and we enjoyed our 3 course lunch. This is the second visit for our staff and we would happily return.

Have had a very enjoyable breakfast here twice recently. Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff and delicious food. Definitely would recommend!

Excellent quality food, whether you want a healthy or less healthy option. Menu caters for everybody and changes fairly frequently with a daily specials menu. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
