The Chinese food was quite pleasant but the Indian food and Thai was very bland. None of the food was particularly hot. The staff were rude and unhelpful, most of them were standing around with their arms crossed doing nothing. The toilets were disgusting. One was out of order, one was flooded and one was covered in toilet paper - perhaps the staff could sort out the toilets rather than stand around or be rude to your customers? Definitely will not be returning.

Had yet another great meal at The Barn. Food, staff and service as good as always. My only criticism would be that it can sometimes be a little noisy in the restaurant but that is outweighed by all the good things.

We had a lovely, cosy meal with our family. Despite being held up in traffic, our table as held and staff were very friendly and kind. The food as excellent too! Big portions and really tasty! We will be making this our regular Christmas meal destination - thank you!

Was a little disappointed on breakfast recently, long delay in receiving food, had already finished hot drinks before food came.

I was meeting up with a friend who I hadn't seen for over 2 years, so we were long overdue a catch-up. As usual, The Barn didn't disappoint and made us both welcome. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We only wanted coffee and a toasted teacake, which was delicious.

Eaten her on many occasions. Always great food, good value for money and service. Will be booking again soon!

I’ve often thought your restaurant looked lovely. However in the past I wasn’t keen as people had said it wasn’t great. Recently I picked up on your advertising maybe or something that caught my attention and decided to try for myself. I was really impressed and even my request was acknowledged and replied to. The food was lovely the staff most pleasant the ambiance perfect! Especially fitting for a miserable Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be using it as a regular choice of restaurant now. Many thanks for a most enjoyable afternoon.

Wonderful lunch at the Barn Cafe, great service and such lovely food. Always such a lovely place to enjoy food & drinks. We ordered the ham, egg & chips, plus the open club sandwich, all so tasty and hot. We love this place :)

The Blue Anchor is half way between my friend & myself. I had high hopes that this could be a venue we can meet regularly at & we weren't disappointed. The food, staff & ambience were all excellent. My friend had ribeye steak (cooked perfectly) that she enjoyed very much & I had tomato pasta, also very good. We will definitely be going back.

Best roast dinner I've had for ages. Will definitely recommend and return for more. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive.

We had breakfast here on Sunday morning it was very chill. We were looked after very well and the food was lovely.

I loved this place. So good. Cocktails were amazing. Recommend the butterscotch old fashioned. Love that the whole menu is vegan. Food is delicious. Staff are friendly. Would recommend and go again and again. Also really fairly priced.

Had breakfast on Saturday 23/11/2024. The food was lovely but we had problems the drinks. Coffee was cold, so went back & when it returned the milk had separated. This was replaced. Ordered second drinks & one diner had to wait over half an hour for their cup of tea. Then we had to ask for it twice. It felt like it had been forgotten but when we asked we were told it was a bit backed up in the kitchen. This was poor service

Such a lovely meal! Excellent service, friendly staff. We were a table of 7 and celebrating my mother’s birthday. We weren’t rushed at all and they brought out a dessert for her with happy birthday piped in chocolate on the plate without prompting which was a lovely touch.
