Great value for money and the food is first class.

Went for lunch with a friend . Lunch menu is a little uninspiring. I ordered a panini. It was ok but nothing different and the salad it came with was just lettuce , no cucumber, tomato or onion . At £10.50 I thought this was rather pricey. My friend had a ploughman’s . Again it was ok but not worth £11.50 . Coffee was great . Ordered tap water which never came until we had finished and asked for it again . Much prefer the breakfast menu .

Great experience. Felt well looked after . I had soup my friend had Buddha bowl all lovely . Plenty of parking .

Nice atmosphere, ambience and the staff were lovely and attentive. The table did not have a table cloth, and was not the most stylish of table tops in its own right to not need something else. I had the bread and olive oil / balsamic vingar which was simple but well executed, but the pasta main meal was over cooked and over seasoned with garlic. I am sure this was just not the Blue Anchors 'a' game, so from me its a verdict of room for improvement.

Our lunch yesterday was lovely. Great place to eat and they are not bothered how long you stay. Good for a catch up with friends.

Been going here many years, and love it. Great atmosphere, family friendly, and fabulous food. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It's great to be able to go to a locally run restaurant that is really superb.

Lovely to be back after the refurb. Meal tasty as ever and the chef was particularly accommodating and pleasant. Would like to see more front of house staff so those who had booked tables could be seated more quickly. Maybe also consider a loyalty scheme to reward returning customers.

Thoroughly enjoyable, so much so I returned with more family 3 days later. Food was good and plenty enough of it.

Nice atmosphere fair prices staff very polite and engaging overall good experience will be going back to check out the summer garden area for drinks and a meal.

The service and atmosphere were great when we had lunch yesterday. However, we didn’t enjoy the Budda Bowlas much as we had in the past. The new dish is less colourful - pretty much all green! We also preferred the mix of flavours in the previous dish. There was no dressing drizzled over the top which gave the previous dish a more appetising appearance. My friend much preferred the feta cheese offered before rather than the mozzarella. Please bring the old dish back.

I have been twice to the Barn, and have found that both meals were tastey. The service was good and the atmosphere really pleasant. The tables are well spaced, so no knockiing into other chairs etc and plenty of room to walk around. menu has just the right mixture. I would higly recommend this as a venue for a lunch out, and then a browse the in the lovely shop next door.

Lovely food and excellent service. Would have liked a vegetarian sausage with my vegetarian cooked breakfast. Sadly I’ll be visiting less often as very expensive.

Lovely breakfast as usual - pancakes delicious. Great setting with a fab buzz about it. Staff lovely, food lovely, setting lovely...what more can I say.

Great place, and friendly service. Love your scones and cakes. I would love to have a choice of your home made soups that you used to offer. Not sure about your main meals. Had the platter this week, but was very messy to eat. Your Sunday lunch is the best ever. Keep up the good work x

Excellent as usual . Our favourite place for breakfast . Lunches are also very good , especially Sunday lunch .
