11a doesn't look anything special from outside but what a great place inside. Well worth a visit for the pizza.

11a Church Street Restaurant and Bar – ExeterReally fresh, delicious fish and warm and light, well cooked and flavoured rice - would have been pleased to receive this sushi in Japan. A cut above several London-based restaurants. Great attention to detail in the dishes, this isn't Japanese food by numbers, was a very pleasurable dining experience over and above satisfying a washoku craving! Had lunch menu - good value. Prawn tempura light and crunchy, generous portion, tofu salad delicate, authentic flavours but showed originality in presentation. Worth seeking out for quality of cooking and ingredients, compares well with other local restaurants in price range.
Steaks N Sushi – ExeterSaw the write up in the E&E so just had to visit had some fantastic sushi and the service received from Polo & Roey could not have been better. Looking forward to having lunch there again soon. No need to go to Plymouth when we have our very own Japanese restaurant here in Exeter.
Steaks N Sushi – ExeterHighly recommended! I had the lunch deal; two courses for £12, and was absolutely blown away!! Very clean, tidy, relaxing atmosphere. Great, authentic tasting food. Polite and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Overall a 9/10 experience!
Steaks N Sushi – ExeterVery good service indeed. They've only just opened when we went, so were eager to know how we found it in a nice way. The food was excellently done. The tempura scallops were especially good. They even made a good octopus sushi, which most places fall down on.
Steaks N Sushi – ExeterThis was our 3rd attempt at visiting Exeter branch -1st occasion we has to ask for our food after a 20 minute wait - no apology but it did arrive - 2nd occasion Eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce cold - again - no replacement offered & no action taken - today we used gift vouchers given to us by our 17 year old who works hard to give us such a present - we treated friends who had never been before - so much salt in soup we are all still feeling sick now (salt & water commonly used to used to induce vomiting) - we then ordered a 2nd set of coffees - they never arrived - how many times do u expect us to ask - would we go back again - not even if you paid us - perhaps your staff and managers should try the Jamie Oliver experience - customers are not an inconvenience to be ignored and staff our passionate about their work - they will get our custom when they come to Exeter as they do each time we go to Bath. At least he is using his name to sell a product that delivers.
Carluccio’s – Exeteranother change of owner, not as good as a 18 months ago. The comfy sofas have gone and only wooden chairs now. Also no B&B rooms available anymore. The food was OK but nothing spectacular. Its lost some of its country charm and is definitely not for the better.
The Lamb Inn – ExeterMy husband son and I had Christmas dinner at the Devon court last year. The starters amazed my son. The main course was perfect the turkey was very moist, the vegetables wholesome and not over simmered. The gravy was not a stock cube bit of veg juice and boiling water. The dessert was amazing a piece of cheese cake each half the size of the plate. Thank you Devon Court. We are coming again
Brasserie 16 at Devoncourt Hotel – Exeterit was a great to place for a birthday and i would tell y friends about how great the service and prices are and the friendly staff.
Buffet City – ExeterThe best Fish & Chips in the South West and probably in the country. Try their "Krispie!" chips and you will never buy chips anywhere else
Krispies – ExeterIdeal place for a romantic Dinner for two or a family gathering. We celebrated our Sons 21st with a family dinner at the Jack recently and everyone had a very good meal, reasonable priced and a good selection of wine and Ales. Paul is a great host, his staff trained very well and its somewhere we always recommend.
Jack In The Green Inn – ExeterVery pleasant hotel in quiet yet convenient location with views to the sea and pleasant gardens. Refurbished Restaurant offering quality food at a reasonable price. Excellent Sunday Carvery Lunch with good choice of meats and vegetables, also plenty of both with Coffee in Sun Lounge afterwards. Went for a family celebration and we were all well pleased also with the friendly and courteous service.
Brasserie 16 at Devoncourt Hotel – ExeterProbably the worst restaurant I have been to in a very long time! Delays with service (over an hour before we got cold starters), waiting staff with absolutely no idea how keep their customers happy actually quite aggressive in manner. It really is no use taking a booking for 10 people if you can't serve them in a reasonable time. It is also no use blaming the customer for not choosing the set menu. When the main courses did turn up the fish was terribly overcooked and the chicken livers were bloody! Truly disgusted with the service and the food. Will never return!
El Bocado – ExeterI had a fantastic meal at El Bocado. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. They had a great selection of Spanish wines which is great to see in a Spanish restaurant. We ordered a selection of authentic Spanish tapas and the paella. I would recommend El Bocado, definitely worth a visit.
El Bocado – ExeterFood has been great here, good service and nice atmosphere. However, we recently made a booking for a Saturday night, only to be told when we turned up that we were expected half an hour earlier and our table had been given away. We definitely had not booked it earlier, and someone at the restaurant had clearly made a mistake. There was no apology given, no recompense or attempt to rectify the problem they had caused, only a rude implication that it was our fault. We had booked a week in advance. It totally spoiled what should have been a happy occasion for us, and we have lost faith in a local company. What a shame.
Harrys Grill Bar – ExeterWe have eaten in the restaurant a few times and absolutely love it, I have tried a variety from both the Thai and American menus and it is all lovely, it's nice that you can see into the kitchen and see the chefs at work :) We thought we'd try the delivery service and ordered online, the food arrived exactly when we were told it would and was still hot even though we live 8 miles out of Exeter, this did mean we had to pay £3 delivery but it was well worth it. 100% recommended for delivery or eat in.
Tiger Bills Bar Wok Grill – ExeterBrilliant restaurant, booked for 12 ppl, only 9 of us turned up due to snow!!!! Staff were very accommodating, food fantastic -my 40th birthday and they gave me a glass of champers and even hid a cake and brought it out lit with sparklers...so so great in Zizzi, Exeter 10/10 Definitely visit again
Zizzi – ExeterHave a great meal relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Was nice to be able to see the chefs cooking and they have real Thai chefs in the kitchen. There was a cross range of customers from 2 people to a table of 10 or more. It was nice a s my partner is a picky eater and wont try different foods os I had the Thai and he had the American side of the menu so we were both happy. We went at a weekend but will definitely be back! They do 2-4-1 weekdays in the evening so its a cheap night out. Well worth a try.
