Excellent, Fabulous , Plenty of hot tea, Sandwiches delicious, cakes scrumptious, The Peach trifle was so scrumptious. Catered wonderfully for my husband who does not eat meat. A wonderful afternoon out.

We had a tour of the Hall first, Mum just the downstairs which she wasn't charged for. The volunteers in the Hall were brilliant. The afternoon tea was gorgeous, in a lovely room with china cups, teapots and proper cake stands. The lady serving us was in a 'tea room' outfit which made it good fun. Highly recommended and we now know where to come for a proper afternoon tea!

Place was cold. Seemed like a lot of staff not knowing who’s doing what although very nice & polite 4 people asked us if we were enjoying our meal when they walked past. Bit excessive. Seemed unorganised

And all the staff were so courteous and obliging as they delivered a delicious selection of savoury and sweet morsels to tempt our palates. We also enjoyed the tour around the Hall after our meal. One of our party was unable to make it at the last minute, but the staff packed up her tea to be taken home which I was very impressed by. The only disappointment was the clotted cream which was in a jar rather than the “real stuff”.
