I will start with the positive, the food was very good. Aside from that everything else was a bit of a disaster. On arriving we were asked to wait in the bar as our table wasnt ready (we were early so this wasnt an issue) there was no atmosphere in the bar and felt like a Doctors waiting room. All the people in there seemed to also be waiting for tables and many were looking at their watches and looking irritated. When we were shown to our table the waiter joked that the chair had been stolen so we had to sit next to each other on the bench seat which seemed strange! When the waitress came to take our drinks order she seemed bemused and asked me where the chair was! When it came to ordering food I asked if the burger sauce contained mayo as I didnt want this and I was assured that the sauce would come on the side. We waited around an hour for food, in which time we and tables around us were offered free drinks for the wait. When the food finally came it had mayo on it! So that went back and was probably another 5 minutes before a replacement came, We also ordered some pork belly bites which didn't come and when I asked was told they had sold out ! The burger was very good, but the tater tots were just sliced potatoes which is not what I was expecting. The restaurant was cold and had no atmosphere, The whole place feels tired and in need of modernising, especially the toilets. They really need to sort out the issue with wait times as from reading other reviews this seems the norm. Such a shame as the food was very good.

Meal was very nice,steak was perfect my only moan is it was freezing cold and had to eat meal with coats on because of a fault with heating will probably try again

Went last night, was asked to wait in the bar til the table was ready. No atmosphere and very cold. Was taken to our table by a lovely lady who apologised for our wait. Was served drinks and our order taken quite quickly. It was freezing in the restaurant we didn’t take our coats off. Front of house came out after about 40 mins and offered drinks on the house to at least three tables around us as no food had been served to us. We decided to leave after 50 minutes as had been served nothing but drinks!!! Staff were very apologetic but all in all not a good first impression. Will not be returning.

Our table was booked for 7.45pm, we had to wait in the bar area as the table wasn't ready, finally seated at 8.05pm, our order was taken fairly quickly, but wasn't served until 9.10pm, someone did ask if we'd had our mains and said they would chase it, but had to ask a couple of times more about when the food would arrive, asked for more condiments to go with our meal but didn't get them and had to ask again, finally got them but had eaten part of the meal by then, the food was ok when it arrived, although the steak that was ordered as medium/well done and it was more medium/rare, didn't mention it as didn't want to wait for it to have to be rectified, as had waited so long for it to arrive in the first place, no-one asked if everything was ok, didn't have a sweet as didn't want to wait any longer for another course, it was very cold in the restaurant, but from reading other reviews there was a problem with the heating but it was not mentioned, will try again at a later date and hopefully the service problems will have been rectified then.

We had a lovely meal at the coast on Tuesday evening The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean The staff are very welcoming and friendly The menu is varied and reasonably priced I would highly recommend it was the best meal we had on our break in st Anne’s

Went to the Sunday buffet great selection of starters and mains, my wife is vegetarian and they cooked her a seperate dish and the naan breads were delicious the staff are very friendly and I can highly recommend them!

Absolutely wonderful place to eat everything about this place is just super! I will certainly be coming back …the food the staff the atmosphere the decor it’s just brilliant well done team!!!

Visited for brunch. Great selection of food and everything we ordered was really tasty. The service was great, staff really nice and attentive.

This was an amazing afternoon tea with a nod to Sunday lunch. Mini yorkshires with beef and horseradish, Stilton and broccoli tartlets, soup, prawn cocktails etc...followed by lovely desserts and warm scones with jam and cream. Ours included a glass of Prosecco. We then had a tour of the hall. Excellent value for money

The sandwiches and cakes were absolutely delicious. The room is bijou but lovely. The waitresses are smartly dressed in traditional outfits and are so very pleasant and helpful. The only negative is the staff were a bit too keen in clearing the plates away, which was off putting and made one feel rushed.

Visited here last night for a birthday meal for my partner after it being reccomend by our hotel . Absolutely amazing staff /service /food . Couldn't reccomend them enough worth every penny . The food is outstanding

We never actually got our meal and left after an hour and a half as it still wasn't ready. On arrival staff couldn't find our booking despite me having a confirmation e mail so our table wasn't ready. We were sat down but not given a drinks menu. Staff came to take our drinks order and when we asked what beers were available, they couldn't tell us. Lots of young staff struggling to cope as they had no idea of table numbers and orders and were delivering wrong meals to tables around us. There didn't seem to be any support or guidance from managers and the poor young people were left to struggle and cope with complaints. We were asked 3 times what we'd ordered and still never received the food! After 90 mins we asked if our food would be arriving and again the young staff were very confused and couldn't tell us. Unfortunately we decided to cut our losses and leave to get a takeaway on the way home as we were so hungry. Very poorly run and managed with no support for the poor customer facing staff taking the brunt of the complaints due to dreadful organisation.

Splendid surroundings and a lovely atmosphere. Food and service excellent. Highly recommend.

Been to the Buraq many times. Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. I don’t know of any other Indian restaurant where a jug of water is already on your table without even asking. Poppadoms and a chutney tray also provided free of charge. Highly recommended.

My daughter bought me a gift voucher for my birthday to have afternoon tea at Lytham hall it was absolutely lovely the food was delicious and the staff were so nice and friendly wish I’d took the tour will do definitely next time

The food was good for pub grub, but okay as American food goes. We found there were no potatoe tots but sliced potatoes instead which we weren't told about. We also found the brisket to lack favour in the meat itself, and smothered in BBQ sauce. The pork belly bites were also smothered in the same sauce so it lacked the variety of flavour. Also when they say it comes with corn on the cob, you only get half. The photos of the meat look better than they taste. It's certainly no match to Hickorys. Clearly the venue is a work in progress so maybe in time it will improve.
