Italio – BlackpoolWe went to coast at the Glendower Hotel as we got married in the hotel nearly seven years ago and I wanted to take my wife back for a meal. The service is absolutely spot on and the food was beautiful. This is not the first time we have been back and certainly will not be the last.
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaPerfection as always. Friendly staff, all on the ball and really reasonably priced. House wine is a good bottle. Kiev and chicken risotto are an excellent choice.

Buraq – KirkhamWe took our auntie and uncle here for a Sunday brunch whilst visiting family in St Anne’s. The welcome was warm and we were offered drinks while we looked at the menu. Breakfast items are available until 1pm which was perfect. The large breakfast was excellent but missing mushrooms for some reason? The black pudding and poached eggs were both perfect and the kippers too. Service was friendly and the chap we assumed to be the manager was lovely. My only criticism was that the coffee isn’t strong enough for me but I’m being picky now. Oh and the screaming child who was deafening for most of the meal. Prices were good for the quality of food. Would definitely go again.

Italio – Blackpool8 of us at Ri Italiani Thu 22/9, for our 2nd visit in a few weeks. Great service by 2 extremely pleasant and helpful staff: lady and gent. Enjoyed the food, with a lively atmosphere. The Early Bird deal (2 courses £14) great value. See you again soon. Dismayed to be unable to buy 125ml glass of wine, particularly as it is the size within drink-drive limits, whereas I think a 175ml is over limits for a lot of people, mostly females.
