Great to see Nunzio's back! A Blackpool institution!
Bistro Nunzio – Blackpoolexcellent
Station Pub and Grill – LythamLovely little restaurant that I hadn't been to before. going back this week so it must be good!
Un Momento – St Annes on SeaWe booked stating 1 vegan guest and 1 vegan / gluten free guest, on arrival the server could not find the vegan menu, when she did find it she pointed out that the baked potato was not available, we asked for the allergen sheets and were told they did not have any, when we insisted they had to have them they were found, only to not contain the allergens for the vegan menu. On checking with the kitchen we were told that there was nothing for the vegan / gluten free diner [not sure why wheat would be in a lentil shepherd's pie or veg chilli] my daughter was then offered a sandwich, when we enquired what they planned to put on the sandwich and if the bread was vegan we drew a blank, and again told the bread contained egg. My daughter was then offered just hummus and chips. When we went to the bar for drinks we waited over 5 minutes to then be told the bar person could not make coffee he had not been trained. Our food took almost 1 hour to arrive with the server stating sorry the machine was broken ? When the food did arrive it was only 2 of the 3 main courses and my daughter's chips, almost 6 minutes later my daughters hummus arrived I still did not have any food, my food arrived over 12 minutes after the others so I had to eat while the other had finished. Incidentally 3 other tables surrounding ourselves were served long before us and they all arrived after. Very disappointed with the whole experience. We did note they seemed very under staffed and stressed. The only plus was the server did remain frindly and polite throughout.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamGreat little place, cafe is the heart and sole of this fitness hub. The facility itself wouldn’t be out of place in London or Manchester. The food is fresh, healthy and wholesome. Atmosphere is vibrant, welcome is genuine and friendly.
Cybele – BlackpoolBest restaurant in FY in my opinion though I love the Cartford too
Twelve – Thornton-Cleveleysdelicious prawn sandwiches in a lovely setting .. very pleasant staff .. great place for a meet up with friends for lunch
Staining Lodge Golf Course and Glass House – BlackpoolWent to Kay’s fish and chip shop Clevelys it seems prices have changed. Fish and chips for one and a fish on its own to take out £9 25 thought that was really expensive
Kays Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysStaff happy to accommodate one of our group that had onion and garlic allergy Options limited for this diner but chosen food was excellent Others all enjoyed well cooked, tasty food
Station Pub and Grill – LythamGreat food. Great looking restaurant. Really happy to choose this place on our short stay down the road at Ribby Hall.
Buraq – KirkhamWe used to visit this Restaurant on a regular basis but haven't been for some time. As my stepdaughter and her boyfriend were home from Dubai we decided to take them there for Dinner . My stepdaughter is gluten and lactose intolerant and allergic to mushrooms and usually struggles to find dishes she can have . The Buraq were so accommodating and she was amazed to find that almost the whole menu was available in a gluten free version . All of our dishes were incredibly tasty and the friendliness of the staff and level of service was second to none . Having not been previously for some time I had forgotten what an excellent Restaurant this is . It certainly won't be long before we return next time.
Buraq – KirkhamI’m not the greatest fan of Sunday Lunch generally as it tends to be a bit of a bunfight rather than a relaxing way to bring the weekend to a close. This was very different and I may even be a convert! The White Tower has great views out over Blackpool promenade, an upmarket feel, plenty of space between the tables, very good staff, chilled music and was really good value too, just £19.95 for two courses. I had the Broccoli and Stilton soup to start and Roast Beef with Yorkshires for the main course. Across the table the Ham hock in mustard sauce got rave reviews. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
The White Tower Restaurant – BlackpoolHad a lovely meal the other evening @ cartford.we were just after an nice easy early tea, good food, good atmosphere.because we were quite early, the guy said the window tables were booked from a certain time but he could fit us in if we fancied a nice view.good start. i had rib-eye and the mrs had fish pie.both were perfect, although the fish pie just tipped the steak.the service was good and friendly.nice clientelle in there.pleasantly reasonable prices, although we didn't have a great deal to drink but we certainly felt good value for money. overall, very pleasurable experience
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonI used your fish restaurant to night and was shocked whut was past off as a potion of large fish I have used this on and off in the past and never had a problem . I ordered a large fish ,two slices of bread & tea . The fish cam in two pieces ,the two together did not make up a normal potion For this I was charge £7.40 this was what I would've expected if the portion was honest I use fish restaurant a lot and I always just have the fish I don't have chips This is the first time I felt I needed to say something about whut I was served up Pity but I will not be back X fisherman and pensioner
Dansons – FleetwoodSunday dinner was an excellent selection of good quality lamb , potatoes and vegetables cooked and presented excellently. A great selection of fresh cakes and sweets were also available for dessert. Service was very friendly and efficient. The dining area in the Atrium was bright and spacious with views across the nearby golf course and fields with the added option of sitting on the outside terrace. My 83 yr old mother found no difficulty moving around with her 3 wheel trolley. A very pleasant dining experience indeed.
Staining Lodge Golf Course and Glass House – BlackpoolFantastic, fresh tapas at a very reasonable price. Lovely staff! Will definitely be back!!
Salud Tapas – BlackpoolThere was four if us in our party having three different meals they were all absolutely lovely. The flavours were just perfect for all our tastes. We can't wait to go back again.
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe had booked a table for 5.30pm and were only served our food after 7pm! Utterly shocking service. Admittedly this was one of the lytham festival nights however, the pub clearly couldn’t cope with the volume of customers and should have planned for this. We were not kept informed of any delays and after asking we were told they had all their staff working and they were going as fast as they could but to have to wait for an hour and half after ordering is not acceptable. They had clearly overbooked. The food came one plate at time which slowed things down even more and was only ok, nothing to shout about. We did get a free round of drinks and cash back for the inconvenience however this didn’t make up for being delayed for the rest of our plans before the main event. We will not be returning.
