Can't stand cafes and restaurants that get used as places for people that want to make a quick quid, selling stuff, don't go there. It's a nuisance being there while people flog cosmetics.

Water’s Edge Cafe – St. Annes-On-SeaHad a lovely meal in Lytham's newest restaurant Bangkok Thai. Enjoyed the green papya salad especially.
Bangkok Thai – LythamNice food small portions though.
Thornton Gate Fish and Chip Bar – Thornton-CleveleysBold but true....By far the best kebab house I have ever used! It's cheaper than most kebab houses and far superior, trust me go large, it's worth every penny.
Carlitos – Knott End-On-SeaI've been eager to try Anatolia for some time and the perfect excuse came up. We had family over from the USA who were vegetarian and we needed somewhere that took vegetarian food seriously but catered for the meat eaters too! Heaven! We were warmly greeted on arrival, the owner was obviously no beginner in making people feel relaxed and at ease. He was a funny guy too! We were served drinks early on and the menu's well explained. He was thorough with taking the order and checked everything carefully as we were a large party and he wanted everything just right. And it was. Everything that came out, vegetarian, fish, meat, casserole, pizzas was all amazing, tasty, well cooked and everyone was happy. A nice touch was the owner directed all the dishes to the right people, his attention to detail was superb. The wine was great too, and reasonable. Basically, Anatolia's deserves to be ranked as highly as it is. It's absolutely deserved. Delicious tasty flavourful food. Great experience and service. Great value. We fed and watered 11 people with at least 2 courses each and drinks (including a few bottles of wine and everyone on soft drinks had at least two) for just a sniff over £200.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-Sealovely night winding down at Pulci Pizza in Poulton
Pulci Pizza – Poulton-Le-FyldeBosco was ace last night. Really like it here, perfect for a filling meal after a long weekend.
Bosco – LythamLove this place. Found it on Sugarvine and have been going ever since! Top food and love walking our dogs nearby. Great that a place of this quality is nearby. Steve W
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonThe food there isnt nice at all, use the same fat each day. The staff there are moody and only care about there selfs, they call people names, start arguements with people, i worked there for abit and they called me brain dead so i wouldnt advice going anywhere near these horrible people. Worst Fish n Chip shop in Blackpool.
The Cottage at Starr Gate – BlackpoolWe very much enjoyed our evening in Spago last night. I think it is the best looking venue in Lytham but wasn't sure about the food. However our meal was excellent. Risotto, seabass, croquets and the veloute were all perfectly cooked. Good to see Felix in the kitchen and seafood is his speciality. Service was efficient and the house Rioja was very good value indeed.
Spago Lytham – LythamThe newly refurbed Taps is looking great! A bigger and better al fresco area, increased seating inside and a feminized modernisation that hasn't compromised the integrity of this famous pub. They had my favourite beer on last night, Windermere Pale Ale. While we were there the landlord was presented with The CAMRA Lancashire best pub award. Well done to all. Looking forward to trying the new increased menu options. Cheers.
The Taps – LythamHorrible, miserable, and crap
Piazza Italia – Blackpooljust visited for Sunday afternoon Fish and Chip treat and very, very disappointed. The fish was burnt and dry, the chips were overcooked and the chicken nuggets were crispy pieces of batter. The service was unprofessional and a little brusque and overall the experience was a total let down. Will not be going again.
The Cottage at Starr Gate – BlackpoolWe loved this place! We didn't even know it was here until stumbling across it on here. We will be back and make a day of it at Ribby Hall.
The Tapas Bar at Ribby Hall – KirkhamBeen to this chippy before and they were really nice.....went back the week later and I have never had such bad fish and chips, had to throw the chips away....last night burnt reheats and soggy batter.....never going back there!
Saddle Chippy – BlackpoolJust been today for lunch. Took our order no problem, 30 mins later they told us they didn't have two of the items we wanted. There where 8 of us so two people had to order something different, it was only Pate so you would have thought they could have told us sooner !! Then it was five of us eating and the other two waiting for their lunch !! Food average service not brilliant staff could smile more and place drinks on table with a bit more finess. Toilets disgusting and needed a good clean !! Staff training a must !!
