The area put me off ,but when you step inside you forget where you are and its so clean and fresh. The food is out of this world, i love Greek food. I had geros, salad, hummus and we shared the pitta bread. And i am going to tell everybody i know to go. You can also get food to go, frozen so you defrost it when you want which is a great idea

been going to mammas since my first date 18 years ago is my favourite to dine food great ambiance really good food divine waiters very pleasant too really good value for money expect a little wait on a Saturday night but hey could think of worst places to be than looking at gorgeous Italian waiter .ENJOY

this is a top class Indian restaurant, having tried numerous others as far as Blackburn, plus having built the new extension i can assure anyone that the kitchen was always immaculate and the staff polite and welcoming, i would definitely recommend trying this restaurant, also if you are unsure what to try then the staff will always help / recommend a suitable choice. enjoy

We've had several family parties there and visited the Villa for meals and put up family and friends over the last few years. So we were rather sad at our last visit earlier this year to find that the menu did not live up to expectations - the quantities had been severely pared back. That's a pity because we enjoyed what food we had. It's a great mistake to cut the portions in order to keep the price down. The Villa has always been a better than average experience - they shouldn't undermine their previous well-justified good reputation in this way. By the way, I wrote to the Villa but did not receive a reply. NB We did not stay - just a Sunday lunch with our family from Australia taken there specially for a good experience.

I eat here all the time, the food is amazing. A £15 all you can eat (per course) buffet and it's really, really good. I suppose you never believe reviews like this but it is. However I'm writing this review because me (and my gf) went with another couple on Sunday. Our friends were really rude, made a big fuss over something minor about the meal (we suspect they were being dishonest) and the staff were utterly professional. We were so embarrassed, our 'friends' demanded a bottle of wine after realising they couldn't afford one and the owner/manager took it all in his stride and brought them one. I believe he knew we were regular customers and just wanted to save us face and embarrassment. They turned what was a social horror into a pleasant meal. Naturally I left a tip but wish I could have afforded to leave a bigger one. I can't recommend them enough, the food is very good but the service is the best I've ever had. The Villa in Wrea Green is under new ownership and has a new chef. Due to this things have improved both in terms of the food and the venue itself. It is a big wedding venue these days. Our meal was good as was the service from the professionally trained front of house team. My only complaint was the long delay between starter and main, however the place had a couple of functions on as well as normal dinner service. For that reason I will give them a break. One of the best places in the Fylde. It will be interesting to see how it develops from here.

in one word FABULOUS have been healthy eating of late and when requested no butter or cream to be used in my meal this was not a problem food is amazing staff extremely professional and very polite bring your friends for a great meal you wont be disappointed early bird menu a bargain and you certainly feel full after three courses highly recommended.

We have been there lots of times, food always very good. Not recommended to go if quiet , as staff hover over you so to me that is not relaxing. Banquet is amazing but low and behold if you are not having it !! You will be told or in are case nearly charged extra. My only fault with China Red is the toilets the ladies sinks are disgusting, with all the staff hovering over us, why can't one be cleaning the toilet!!!!!! Would still go back - but not as often as the rest of the family would like to.

We have eaten here a number of times & the food is fabulous. Great for families (the kids love the pizzas and pasta dishes and the scrummy ice cream!) Oliver the chef has a real passion for food & it sings through in every dish. The paella is definitely worth trying (you need to book this in advance) - we had a mixed chicken & seafood one (great of you aren't all seafood mad) - fantastic depth of flavour, very tasty.

Last-minute decision to eat out and we chose the Grand in St Annes. Quite busy and this was a Monday evening which is a good sign. Really enjoyed the food – warm potted Lytham shrimps, rib eye with Bearnaise, sticky toffee pudding – and the Chablis on their list was pretty good too. I like the vibe here which is more city centre than seaside. And being a wine geek I love the fact that they have proper stemware (Riedel-style Bordeaux glasses) which you rarely find outside of the high-end Michelin places. Highly recommended.

Surprised at how nice the food was here last Sunday. We went for a walk with the dog and ate outside by the lake. I had a very pleasant fish pie and the wife had a retro ham and eggs. Simple but tasty all round. Also it was £16 with drinks, nice.
