Go Greek – BlackpoolThis is by far the best takeaway/hidden gem on the fylde coast. The food cooked here is so fresh you can here the cows mooing and the chickens clucking when you get home. The salt and chilli ribs are amazing. sweet and sour chicken, beef with green peppers and black bean sauce. This guy can cook let me tell you. if you live in the fleetwood, carlton, thornton, cleveleys and part of Bispham then this place is well worth a visit. The attention to detail is exemplary, they even whole punch the lid for the ribs so they don't go soggy.
China Lodge – Thornton-CleveleysAfter finding this place on your site(it jogged my memory as i haven't been here in many years) 3 of us decided to go for Sunday lunch. what a transformation, the interior looks great. Very warm and inviting. We all opted to go straight into the mains, with my old man having the beef and stilton pie, mum having the chicken, bacon and mozzarella and myself having the Hot pot. The hot pot was amazing, the lamb was so tender and they were good sized chunks. My dads pie was a resounding success with big meaty chunks and Mums also tasted good. i finished the scraps off. The only downer was that the pickled red cabbage from a jar was heated up which i thought weird. We ended with raspberry eton mess and sticky toffee pudding. If you haven't been to this place then i definitely recommend a drive out. The atmosphere was busy and the staff attentive. Will be back.
Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonFantastic. Quality food. Strongly recommend the bacon Club sandwich
Piknik – BlackpoolIt is now 7years since we started dining here an d it has not changed in all that time.Whether we have had the banquet or the buffet it has always been first class. The staff are brilliant very helpful and efficient. Also they like a laugh.
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolThis has got to be one of the best chippies I've ever been too! awesome food and the most polite staff, every credit to the owner! The queue says it all....
Kays Knott End Chippy – Knott End-On-SeaWe have used this chippy for 11years and rate it as the best takeaway chippy in Lancashire Always excellent fish and plenty of beautifully cooked chips.
Fisheries, The – Knott End-On-Seabest coffee in Blackpool lovely place you made to feel like friends not just a customer
The Atrium – BisphamI've just had the worst lunch I've ever paid for at the Outside Inn. Went with some work colleagues, their two chicken meals (bacon chicken bbq, don't know the name) arrived and by the time they had finished theirs... me and my friends just came. We sat watching the other two eating over the whole of lunch and had to gulp ours down. The chips were horrible, there was no salad but a massive bowl of BBQ sauce in the middle of my plate. I would have complained but the people I was with asked me not to. What a waste of £15.18 (went through the till at 13:05 - looking at my receipt). As I know my reviews don't always get published I will be publishing this on trip advisor too! WHAT A TOTAL WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolWell that was the worst visit to the Outside Inn so far. I go here every Friday for lunch and it's usually OK food, OK service, decent portions etc.Today, upon reflection, they were extremely short staffed and the place was just a mess. Loads of tables left with dirty pots/glasses on them, one guy on the bar clearly struggling. Actually when i ordered my gammon he said "There are no eggs." "No eggs?" I asked and he said something about the grill not working. You don't grill eggs though? Hmmm, questionable, I didn't think anything of it at the time but now i'm starting to wonder because my gammon didn't have any colour to it. I am starting to wonder just how it was cooked if the grill wasn't working. The more I think about it the more suspicious I get because it was drier in places which suggests it may have been in the microwave. If this is the case then that's atrocious. The wait for the food was too long and I didn't get the criss-cross chips I asked for and paid an extra £1 for.Get your act together Outside Inn. You should be embarrassed.
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolI have visited Great Fortune House several times and each time the service and the food has been second to none. The quantity and the quality are spot on. I will be definitely be dining there again.
Great Fortune House – Thornton-CleveleysExcellent!!! 8 of us called in with disabled people in 2 wheelchairs, nothing was to much bother for the staff, a ramp was provided for us, and was accommodated with no problem, we all enjoyed a feast of fish chips pea's tea bread and butter, will definitely call back when in the area.
Granada Fish Bar and Takeaway – Fleetwoodsince discovering the pub by chance in September we have taken five different couples who were all impressed with the quality, prices, value and wholesome well cooked food. The Sunday lunch is excellent and the best roast potatoes ever. Keep up the high standards and the traditional pub atmosphere.
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamI agree with the comments from Janet and Terry below – went with the in-laws and had a great Sunday lunch here too. Excellent value, plenty of choice and really tasty home-cooked food. I had the Roast pork loin with all the trimmings and sticky toffee pudding with custard. Good beer too and a canal right next door for a pleasant stroll. Highly recommended.
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamI have eaten here on a couple of occasions and have never been disappointed, the food is wonderful. the moussaka must to try. It was the best I have ever eaten.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-Seabest coffee for miles good price also the best toasties i have ever tasted Steve and Andy the owners do there best to keep prices affordable for all with discount for NHS staff.

Novello – LythamWhilst visiting Thornton lodge with my family on my husbands birthday we entered the venue and we were greeted with a smile by a supervisor called Paul, it was a big table of 15 people we were all very happy with the service we received by all the staff but i have to say Paul kept us all amused what a good laugh we had that night, thanks Paul
