Fylde Rugby Club – Lythamwe have been 4 times in the last month and each time it has been excellent, both hospitality and food. our friends were equally impressed . it is also very good value for money
Ship Inn – FreckletonOur group of 6 had a very enjoyable evening in your lovely restaurant the food was excellent and at a very reasonable cost will defo be coming back on our next visit to Blackpool
La Fontana – BlackpoolThe Ghurka was recommended to me on a trip to Blackpool. It was a fantastic value for money experience. There was a wide choice of foods all of a excellent quality (not stewing away as they are in some buffet restaurants) and the service and friendliness of the staff was second to none. I sampled quite a few of the dishes on offer but was full well before I ran out of choice. A word of warning though. The Ghurka lamb curry, which was labelled as 'very hot', really is very hot. Not to be sampled by Korma lovers like me
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – BlackpoolWe think this is the best Indian restaurant around this area. The spicing is spot on and the owner cannot be more helpful and friendly. He has started doing a healthy option menu which helps me with my Slimming World diet. He helped me choose the best meal with the fewest calories which is just what I needed. (My husband can tuck into anything else he prefers.) Keep up the good work.
Meherin – Thornton-CleveleysBeen twice now, couldn't believe the standard , taste and value of this bistro. service is by far second to none. peroni beers the best. can't wait for next meal out there.
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-Fyldevisited in September. Very welcoming to families (we have a large double pram) high chair provided. baby change facilities too ! Lovely traditional Italian food. Best carbonara since visit to Rome. Excellent value.
San Marcos – Blackpooltheir food is great and staff very pleasant always go for bdays and special times actually going this weekend
Great Fortune House – Thornton-CleveleysVisited this restaurant on a Saturday night and what a good choice! The food was superb, really well cooked, good portions and presented lovely. The best fillet steak I can recall having. The service was attentive but not overbearing, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, nice music. Will definitely revisit soon
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysA welcome experience in very different surroundings. really good food. A diamond find. Jane
Empress Grill Room – BlackpoolGreat fillet steak here the other night. Would love to know where they get them from. Had it rare and it was just melt in your mouth perfect.
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaTaste....What a great place to eat. The food is of a very high standard. Presentation is excellent. Certainly no grumbles, especially about the price...Go there.
Taste – Thornton-CleveleysThe Perfect Sunday Lunch.at the glendower Hotel restaurant. My Husband and I visited for Sunday lunch. The Food was excellent..the service first class.the price good. what more to make the perfect way to spend Sunday Lunch.
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaLove this restaurant. Excellent food, well presented without being pretentious. We eat here regularly, anything from a simple pasta or pizza through to a 'special occasion' celebration and we've never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the wine list caters to every pocket. They have recently started opening on Sunday lunchtimes with a 5 course menu on offer which we've yet to try.
Novello – LythamI went to the restaurant last week only to find there are new owners.I have been going to this restaurant for 10 yrs.I have to say the meal was not very good .The dips with the poppadoms were watered down and tasteless. The onions were dry with mint instead of the usual red sauce.I ordered a Vegetable Dansak and the veg was taken from a frozen bag it was just as if they had tipped it out into a sauce. The only time I have experienced this before was in Spain when they said it was because the veg does not keep over there.I don't understand why they cant use fresh veg as they should also be using it in other dishes.I visit a Indian restaurant near the airport and that is fantastic I just hope the standards are not slipping in Bispham as the staff are lovely and it would be a shame to not visit again.
Sunam Tandoori – BisphamWent to this restaurant last Saturday, not at all impressed pricey for the amount of food we received, food seemed to be slapped on the plate. We all had starters and as i am not a big eater i ordered a chicken tikka starter as my main course to have chips with, the tikka was on a small plate and wasn't at all nice
Sunam Tandoori – BisphamI agree with the comments. It's a great place - food and service is excellent and price compared to other Italians restaurants in Poulton is very reasonable. I've been several times and also ordered take away. I love the buzz and the atmosphere and would definitely recommend to friends.
Pulci Pizza – Poulton-Le-Fyldehaving just picked up my partner's new car on saturday 17th sept we were looking around for a place to eat and passed this place on our wanderings. The decor was very modern and welcoming as were the staff, particularly the landlord and his partner. Having become accustomed to expecting very average but ok food from many pubs, I was delighted to find the sirloin steak dinner I ordered was cooked to perfection and more than worth the £7 or so it cost. A good thick piece of meat that had been cooked correctly and just melted in the mouth... even the small rump steak my partner went for as part of her turf-surf-turf platter was tender and cooked exactly as it should. We finished with what can only be described as a glass 'bucket' of hot brownie and ice cream and raspberries, topped with whipped cream, various cadbury bits and bobs and a curley-wurley... it beat the two of us and could probably serve four after the main course portions, hahaha - lovely place for a cheap lunch and friendly atmosphere... give it a try ;~)
