Amazing old place, oozes history and wonderful aromas! Bought some great coffee and a coffee machine.
I went there on a Saturday and the food was no better than average and the service was really inadequate. The woman serving was quite ditsy, just not with it. There is too much choice in Lytham to have this standard.
Bosco – LythamWe were staying in the Norbreck Castle and needed something different to their offerings. We found it round the corner here. Good choice of menu, though we all opted for the reasonable meal deals. excellent tasting fish, grease free chips, and a belting cup of tea. Staff were really good. What more can I say? It was just what was required. Thank you very much.
New Norbreck Fish and Chips – Thornton-Cleveleysthe chequers cafe is by best the most popular cafe in fleetwood the food is fabulous the staff are very pleasant and curtius, this is a family run business so a regular home to home cafe with exceptional food for every taste , from a quick cuppa to a full sit down meal.Very reasonable prices that caters for every one .very easy to find , but this cafe is a must , situated at 50b north albert street in fleetwood .
Chequers Cafe – FleetwoodThe new homemade steak pie I have just tried one of the new home made steak pies and can say without a doubt that they are the best steak pies I have ever tasted They are full of real meaty chunks of steak and the gravy is absolutely beautiful. Get yourself down there and try one you won't be disappointed Kev T
Dawsons – KirkhamGreat new place in Layton for lunch or evening meal. We love the Gyros which is delicious, very healthy and not expensive, Illy coffee to finish, what more could you want. And you can take away if they are full (which they often are)
Go Greek – BlackpoolThis is a really nice authentic Thai takeaway. They do have a couple of tables aswell and seats in the window, but we always take it home because the kids love it too.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeOnly eaten here once but the attention to detail by staff was fantastic, food was excellent service excellent as was the atmosphere keep up the good work we will come again when we are in Blackpool and our waitress Anna was superb, thanks for a lovely lunch
Toast Cafe Bar and Grill Restaurant – BlackpoolWe have eaten here a few times now and it is always spot on. It makes a change from the usual restaurants we go to as it is very grand but it is not at all stuffy, we even took the kids last time and were really looked after. Great for Sunday Lunch and not expensive as you might think.
Imperial Hotel – Blackpool6 of us went for a business lunch and all really enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed my fish and chips.
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolI love this place, authentic Thai food and restaurant with great atmosphere and if you cant get a table at the weekend you can take away.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeReally good, fresh Fish & Chips here and a lovely little dining room at the back if you want to sit down with bread, butter and tea etc. We are not local but will be back.
The Haven Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaThis is the only Indian takeaway we ever use, even though we have one nearer. Really nice authentic Indian taste and very quick delivery service.
Gulshan Tandoori Takeaway – BlackpoolDefinitely the best Fish & Chips in Blackpool. We always go here for take away on our way home but sat in the restaurant last time and although they were very busy and missing some staff, they really looked after us.
The Cottage – BlackpoolGood food is all I can say .But there are plenty other restaurants in the area that also serve that. The service was VERY poor. There was no obvious front of house. We arrived ON time. Had drinks and menus delivered and the service ended there. We sat with menus for 20 mins before and order was taken. No complimentary bread as stated on the menu. It was another 25 before our starters arrived. We sat with empty plates for 15 mins and then finally managed to get the attention of a member of staff to clear them. It was a further 25 mins before our maincourse was served. Not once did anyone ask us if everything was okay. We paid our bill and asked to speak to the person in charge. She had nothing to say other than that they were busy!!!!. So I ask the question Why did they take my bookings if they couldn't cope?. So beware if you are table of two on a busy night do not expect too much as they obviously work on the financial principal that the larger tables bring in more revenue. We paid £85 for a meal for two and came away very disappointed and deflated.
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-SeaBest Italian Restaurant in Lytham and St Annes. Great food, fantastic service, my two grandaughters love the Rustica Pizzas. Look forward to our next visit.
Bosco – LythamJacks Seaside Gem !! A restaurant front that screams seaside caff...yet the intimate internal setting is refreshing despite the horrendous high peak LCD screen dominating Everest proportions in the centre of the room. Amiable and accommodating, the staff seek approval not only of their clientele but also and most importantly their fare. The food is interesting with enough local produce fused into the menu to seek the diners delight. A place to take your 'Jill' when honest intimacy and squaring is required !!
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-Seahey:) san marco's used to be at the top of my road and i only ever attended once as we don't usually go out for meals that often, it was for my sisters birthday and it was great, the meal was fantastic! and that's why i am going on Thursday 22nd april 2010 for my 15th birthday - now it has moved further down the road so it is a lot bigger and there is at least 20 of us going, wow! - good luck to the workers out there haha, i know it will be great and make me want to come back again - has anyone been recently, what are the prices? is it £8 something for a 2 course meal and a drink? write back ;D!
