Fantastic food and great unobtrusive service. Lovely tasty leek and potato soup, duck that melted in your mouth and yummy chocolate dessert. I will certainly be back !!

Having read the other recommendations all I can say is I concur, having visited Blackpool for a number of years and passed by here, (being on my own I rarely went for a meal)My partner and I were very pleased at the quality and taste of the food. We will be back

Well what can I say, taken over by new management 18 months ago, and what a difference, this fish I would recommend to anybody and would say the best tasting in town and I tried a few in this area? beautifully cooked to my satisfaction as I like mine well done, and the nice fishy flavour, not like a few round here which I think taste quite bland, so give them a try and trust me you will not be disappointed, all Hollands pies etc go down well. Davvi.

I can highly recommend The Cartford Inn. We stayed overnight and Patrick and Julie were very friendly, as were the staff. The rooms are comfortable and are better than many 'luxury' hotels. We ate in the restaurant at night and we were very impressed all round. This is really a Gem of a place and we hope to return later in the year. 10/10

Simply Excellent - Always has been always will. Thanks for all the truly great meals!!! I would recommend Greens to anyone, they serve by far the best food and wine for that matter on the Fylde coast.

Sadly I am unable to recommend this Indian Restaurant as on our visit at the beginning of April it was the worst food I have ever had in any restaurant. It started very well as it was our first visit here, I went there with my wife and another couple and the decoration was fine and the place looked great. The server seemed OK and we waited for our food. The Chicken Pakora that I ordered was cooked in oil that tasted like it needed to change and the Prawn cocktail was drenched in sauce, so much so my wife did not eat it. My starter not only tasted off due to the oil taste but the chicken was very rubbery and was not enjoyable. I ordered Lamb Rogan Josh and the wife Chicken Biryiani. The lamb and the chicken in both dishes was not hot and the meat was definitely not tender. Both the Chicken and the Lamb were tough as old boot. The manager asked what was wrong with the chicken as chicken is chicken. The food was like no other Indian restaurant that I have eaten at and I shall not be going again.

My wife and I moved into the area last October and tried out all the pubs round about. After downing quite a few beers along the way we found that this pub suited our needs, in every way, with regards to great guest beers, and exceptional value for money with regards to food. The pub offers an open fire with a very friendly atmosphere, and most of all I can take my Beagle in for a pint as well, yes a pub that actually lets dogs in fantastic. Big thumbs up for the new landlord & landlady as they are doing a superb job.

i have been going here for many years now. the food is brilliant, very fast service and the staff and friendly and very helpful. delivery is good to.i wouldn't go anywhere else now. highly recommended

i have known hic a long time from the khoinor at hutton preston he has always been very friendly and we even went to his wedding we as a family have traveled from preston to st annes many times his food is so good i just wish he would come back home and open up in preston

I would recommend the mandarin restaurant to anyone.It was quite simply the best Chinese meal I have ever experienced.

Our family gathering of 12 for Lunch, 10 for accommodation and evening meal on Saturday thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, without exception. From the very start a sincere warm friendly welcome, then through to the superb rooms & decor, great thoughtful service, magnificent food accompanied by fantastic home brewed ales etc. and a wonderful breakfast the next day. They really have the full package of staff, decor, food, drink etc. finely tuned and fully deserve this recommendation. If Gordon Ramsey did this one we are all convinced that he would simply have absolutely nothing to do but enjoy it too!

I'm an ex Blackpool resident but now live and work in China. I brought my Chinese wife back to Blackpool last summer for a holiday. As soon as we walked into the Golden Palace, the waitress, John's daughter recognised me. I had taught her and her elder brother and sister. My wife and I were made very welcome, the service and the cuisine was absolutely first class during the many times we ate there. I was able to drink authentic Tsingtao beer and my wife commented that the place felt just like 'home. The ambience of the establishment is like that, John and his family make their guests feel at home and find time to check with clients to make sure that everything is ok. We'll be back in summer.

I think that i’ve worked at this indian restaurant about 10 years ago, i’m not sure about it, but, i remember the food was very tasty and people that works over there are so nice.

we have been going to Mimmo's for over 5 years - the food, staff and the wine are always absolutely superb. I use the restaurant for my corporate guests from Japan to the US and they are always impressed. Mimmo and Vito really capture all that is great from Italian cuisine. They get top marks from us every time - even on very busy weekend nights! salute!

This is the worst restaurant in blackpool Sammy is very nosey and wants to know everybodies business I hope that they have got rid of the rats they had 2 years ago

A very competent restaurant. We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have always been very pleased with the quality of the food and service. Try the Drovers Platter or Cod and Fat Chips, you won't be disappointed.
