A friendly Chinese restaurant with good food and a welcoming atmosphere
Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeHad our Christmas night out on 19.12.08. Our table was in a lovely spot, the presentation and cleanliness to the restaurant has to be commended as does the staff and their attentive natures. This is a fantastic experience for lovers of chinese food cooked to perfection and in abundance. Total top value for money with a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit as I am sure anyone will agree that this is the best chinese on the Fylde.
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolThis is a gem of a restaurant! Small, yet cosy. The food is sublime. Strongly recommend you visit and taste the superb food. The green Thai curry is fantastic!
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaJust had another fantastic works xmas night out, Both Winnie & Sunny make you feel most welcomed, food excellent as always. See you again next year.. Steve (Vanalstynes)
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolWe love the food and the service and hope to book a table for new years eve
Tiramisu – Blackpoolwent there last Sunday and on our trike, no one else there but was still a nice ride out and could be fun with a few more as there are a lot of nice country pubs on route from M55
Knott End Cafe – Knott End-On-SeaHad some fabulous meals here - definitely worth a try. The food was delicious and I loved the decor, especially in the upstairs eating area. I tried the beer-battered fish and chips with minty mushed peas and it was absolutely fabulous. Can't wait to go back
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonExcellent food and really enjoyed the early bird menu. I always feel that I've had good value for money in return for superb food. Would recommend Pipers to anyone eating in Garstang.
Pipers – GarstangWhile the food is excellent I think it is a pity that there isn't a 3- course set meal (eg. for £20) all evening, not just 'early bird', from Monday to Friday; this would certainly attract more diners during the week. Personally I don't like to eat early. I would recommend the management investigate a highly successful small restaurant in Honley, near Holmfirth, called 'Mustard and Punch' which offers the above, including a bottle of house wine, and is always full.
Pipers – GarstangWe went on Sat 6th December, it was our 2nd visit and the food was amazing, the staff are all lovely and the Chef's are a credit to the place. We are from Castleton, Rochdale and we used to have a fab Greek Taverna in Heywood - Dionysus, but they moved to Blackpool. Can't wait to go back again. My Sister and Brother in Law live in Ansdell and are so lucky having the Olive Tree on their door step.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-Seawe have been to the sunam tandoori, bispham every 2 weeks before i meet my boyfriend he use to go 3 nights a week. i think it is the indian restaurant in the north west
Sunam Tandoori – BisphamWe visited on a freezing Sunday evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet as we expected on such a bad evening, but we were warmly greeted and shown toour well laid out roomy table. Having ordered a bottle of reasonably priced Primitivo we studied the varied menu. We shared a delicious garlic bread and Funghi Ripieni, both generous portions. Two fillet steaks followed, a Filetto Funghi and a Filetto Dolcelatte. Both cooked to perfection, medium rare as requested. They were served with new roasted potatoes, cauliflower, carrots and cabbage. Chips were offered. Both meals were excellent. We had to pass on the desert menu but enjoyed coffees. La Dolce Vita is well worth a visit, as good if not better than many of the well known Italian Restaurants on the Fylde Coast, and we have sampled many. We will definitely be back.
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysIf you want a great Indian and you hate getting ripped off this is THE PLACE . I work in Blackpool in a large hotel and this is my recommendation to our guests
Akash Tandoori – BlackpoolI must say that I am very surprised no one has wrote about this chippy the last time I visited this 14 yrs ago it was run by 3 brilliant people Maz, Dot and Les surprise, surprise in August 2008 when we returned to this site they are still running this chippy serving brilliant non greasy food their puddings are to die for all in all the cheapest and best chippy not only in Staining but in Blackpool and what characters the two girls are (sorry ladies!!!) and that's being kind. Your friendly customer and neighbour from Wigan, guess who??????
Newton Hall Fish and Chips – Poulton-Le-Fyldeafter being a regular for many years, myself, brother and parents decided to have a meal there, the service was 1st class and the meal itself was the best we have had for a long time, good size portions, homemade style cooking - well worth the try - i can recommend the liver and bacon !!
White Bull Hotel – Great EcclestonWe come to Blackpool 3 times a year and when we do we eat at Tiramisu. In our opinion this is the best restaurant anywhere. The service and food is second to none. we spent 2 weeks in July and 1 week in October 2008 in Blackpool and ate there almost every night. We cannot wait to go back there in February 2009.
Tiramisu – BlackpoolI have been going to Gemma's Indian Restaurant for over two years now and i am telling you, it is the best Indian restaurant in the area. I have tried all the rest but found something lacking. The staff are excellent, they will go out of their way to accommodate you. They have a 4 course meal deal on three times a week, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. They give you that much food, I have to ask for a doggy bag to take home.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWe have been to Lorenzo's dozens of times and have never been disappointed in the excellent quality of the food and the very good service. I would say it is the best restaurant on the Fylde for value. The chicken livers are the best I have ever had. The house wine is always very good, varied, and very reasonable in price. I always look forward to going back to Lorzenzo's and we shall be going again next week.
