Visited Thai by Night shortly after it opened and our party of 4 was more than pleased with the meal. A very promising beginning and in our view best Thai in Poulton. Hope it maintains this standard.

The Name of the Tavern is Owd Nell's and not Old???? the food and service was perfect. They looked after the kids and my disabled mother like they were their own. The place is very friendly and so quaint. The have special occasions on all the time, we just missed the Oyster Festival but have booked for their "Not so scary" Halloween for the kids and adults. Brill keep it going.

Like one of your last customers said, the pizza was made by Christian and Alfonso who let the kids put their own toppings on after it had come down from spinning in the air to the amusement of all the customers. We had 12 fresh oysters and a bit of garlic bread to nibble at before we chose our meal. I had the tiger prawns a size I've never seen before then plumped for the Aberdeen Angus Ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection Mmmmmmm!!! We had a couple of litres of Guy's Plonque that was £12.95 and more than just plonque. Home made bread and butter pudding and a half pint of Artois Bock at 6.8% I was ready for my taxi home. I could have stayed in the lodge at Owd Nell's Tavern and should have done. It was fantastic for meat fish and service. Well done!!!!

The first thing I must say about this place is, Remember to Book, as it gets very busy, We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed out, and because the food was so good I can understand why. Our meals were full of flavour and freshness and the duck Red curry was brill, although it is busy you are never rushed we sat at least an hour after our meal and had coffees and brandy and talked with no pressure from the waitress to vacate the table. Thank you for a wonderful night

Well worth a visit. Food is fresh and well presented, not overly priced. Big enough inside eating and drinking area to avoid TV screen and noise if you don't appreciate football and the like. Surrounding area is worth exploring especially the canal tow path.

I visited The Mandarin for the first time recently. I could not fault the friendly and professional service of the staff. The food was excellent, and, as a vegetarian was more than happy with the selection available. This is a classy place, which I look forward to visiting again, whenever I'm in the area

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful anniversary meal at Truffles, the staff were friendly and made a real fuss when they knew we were celebrating. I had Fillet Steak Stroganoff my husband had chicken Chasseur, both of which were cooked to perfection and the presentation marvellous, and the selection of vegetables complemented the dishes. We would like to thank the staff for a memorable evening and we will be returning soon.

This is the best curry house on the flyde coast and will cater for all your tastes(just ask). Try it tonight you won't regret it!

My lovely wife took me to the Mandarin last Friday for our surprised anniversary dinner as her heard some good reviews about this restaurant. I had to write this review because it was such a wonderful experience that we've had. The restaurant was full but they did not hurry us for the table. The food was excellent from start to finish, we had the Mandarin banquet, combo starter, duck and main course, and all the food was nicely presented with vegetable carving. You can tell the lady owner was a professional as she ensured that everyone feel special there, the staff were all so pleasant and attentative and always ready for a laugh and joke. All in all, it was just a brilliant night and finally, the Liquor coffee is to die for!

Great Food

We went last time we were in Blackpool and food was excellent. the starters out of this world and the whole experience wonderful. Thank you Wah Wahs and I? definitely coming back.

Went there for a meal for the first time and the food was fabulous, great range and choice of dishes available for caters for all tastes, service by waitresses was excellent, will definitely be returning there again

Today, we dined in Truffles, Blackpool. We had a first class meal, beautifully presented at a very reasonable price. The service was excellent and we heartily recommend it to anybody looking for a pleasant and worthwhile place to eat. We have eaten in all the top restaurants around Manchester and this compared favourably with all of them

Took My family in on saturday night, was actually 1st weekend of the illuminations and even though they were completely full and run off there feet they made space for us and made us welcome. Food was fantastic, had what they describe as an 18oz Rump more like 23oz with fries mushrooms onion rings and all the trimmings for £13.95, tell me thats not amazing value

I have eaten at this chip shop on several occasions, the service is excellent the owners are friendly with a good sense of humour, it is immaculate and the food is some of the best I have ever tasted with good sized portions, If you want proper fish and chips try this one!>

Lovely food, and great service. pity about the rowdy football crowd talking about gary glitter. we will be back however.

This is a great place to get a takeaway from, the food is cheap, and the quality is very good. I would recommend this takeaway to anybody who is in the Blackpool / Fleetwood area.
