What a wonderful time we had. Went on a Wednesday for the special deal and I have never had so much food in life!! And so cheap too. We were also especially impressed with the free shot, vimto lolly and flower at the end of the meal. Great!! Will definitely visit again!!

We were catered for at late notice by the restaurant, making room for us upstairs. The food was absolutely superb with everyone expressing their delight. This is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at and I eat a lot of Chinese food!! George was a great host, really nice guy and nothing was too much trouble.

Tried Taylors chippy for the first time yesterday. The fish was excellent with crisp batter without any sogginess which we have had on the fish elsewhere. The chips were chunky and complimented the excellent fish. The shop is very clean and the staff were very friendly and served the food in a large tray for ease to carry to the car. Will call and buy from Taylors when we visit Blackpool again. Fully recommended

There was a great choice of dishes to choose from, excellent for my young daughter to try them all. As soon as I got back to the table with another dish it had been cleaned away of dirty plates, I paid £8.95 for myself and £3.95 for my child, (August 2005) you eat as much as you like and go back for more as many times as you like. Which I think is a great idea, they do have an extra charge if you leave a big plateful of food, I think this is a good idea it stops people wasting so much. Will definitely go again.

What can i say, the food at Taylors Fish & Chip shop is excellent, went there for the first time last night with a few friends and we all really enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly and well presented and everything was cooked to perfection. Well done and keep up the good work, see you again VERY soon

Excellent meal. Well worth an 80 mile round trip, and a definite must-do if you are visiting Blackpool. Perfect location for the start or finish of a drive through the illuminations. The large haddock has to be seen to be believed - I'm sure it was a haddock crossed with a whale! Perfect crispy batter too, and great chips. With friendly helpful service as well, this chippy is highly recommended.

This was our third visit to the villa again a great night was had .the staff are professional but friendly the building and decor are brill there is a brilliant selection of food on offer cooked and served to a very high standard will be going back very soon

Really really enjoyed our meal here. It was great. Restaurant was spotless and relatively busy (just nice) Waiter was charming and the owner came to chat with us. The food was absolutely outstanding. one off the best Indian Meals I have had. The place has been really nicely developed and the garden looks great.

We have been here on two occasions and enjoyed it both times. The service is very good and we were impressed by the food even though the portions were a bit on the small side and quite expensive for a pub/restaurant meal. The dining area is quite impressive too,nice and cosy. Would recommend to all.

We love this plaice!! I'ts the best chippy we know and we dont go anywhere else for our fish and chips,that means everytime one of us says'do you fancy a chippy?' We drive 20 miles for one!!

the thing with this place is, you know the food is always going to be good! And let's face it, that's all you want from a take away. The food always arrives piping hot - don't know how they manage it - and consistently tastes freshly prepared. The tandoori mix set meal for £11.95 would easily feed two people. or why not do what my husband does? Eat half now and save the rest for tomorrow! Excellent, won't go anywhere else!

As Blackpool hoteliers, we are always on the look out for good, reasonably priced eateries to recommend to our guests. We were very fortunate to come across this little gem of a restaurant a couple of weeks back and have been back two Sundays on the trot! We were greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel very welcome from the onset, a good choice of meals including a very reasonable set menu were shown to us and we chose from the set menu. The food and service represent excellent value for money and it was a pleasure to dine here. I have no hesitation in recommending the Mandarin to anyone visiting Blackpool, we'll certainly be back!

Top quality food served by friendly, well mannered staf in an imepeccably clean shop. Could not find a single fault. The fish was the whitest and freshest I have ever had, with very light and crispy batter. Well done to all concered, I will visit again and recomend others do too.

At last I have found a restaurant in the Fylde that offers food, ambiance and sevice that is worth paying for. I paid over £100 plus tip for 2 of us from the a la carte, I was glad to pay! and will go back soon. The chips better than mums!!! the sweets works of art and the deer exquisite I loved the scallop with Morecambe Bay Prawns. I am getting boring now, just try it.

Been Here On Many Occasions, Situated Near Marsh Mill with easy parking,The restaurant is mostly non smoking but unless you purchase of the daytime bites menu it can be a little pricey for a pub meal.

A good eat... authentic Itallian flavours with a Scicilian twist. A little shocked to have received a pizza without cheese, but tasty nonetheless! Perhaps this is a Scicillian tradition... Good service and a nice ambience but watch out for the music - Scicillians really shouldn't attempt dance music (but hey, it's a lot cheesier than their pizza!!!). Silly comments aside, this is a really cosy place which always has a warm greeting for you on arrival and of course, no Itallian is complete without a healthy selection of fine mint imperials on the way out! Make no mistake, this has quickly become the best place for pizza in Lytham St Annes... Tiggis, Novello et al move over!

Had a meal on Friday 12 August 05, never been before and found it difficult to find, had to phone for directions. Worth the trip, was excellent, just the kind of food we like. The homemade rum and raisin ice cream was outstanding. Will definately return.
