Had Sunday Lunch yesterday with my husband and 2 friends, the roast beef was of good quality, and tasted really lovely, vegetables presented in a bowl were plentiful with lots to choose from, the cauliflower cheese was especially good, can’t really fault the actual lunch. We felt rather let down due to the fact that there was only one dessert on offer, we felt a choice of maybe 3 items would be good, even if one of the items was ice cream, it is always nice to follow savoury with sweet, I know there was cake on offer, but cake is not a dessert, hence I can’t give a 5 out of 5 for the food.

We ate at Harry's twice during our week long stay in the area. Croque Monsieur for brunch were delicious, hot and beautifully presented. But the absolute highlight was roast beef on the Sunday (and also my favourite meal of our 3 week holiday). The beef was amazing - cooked rare, it cut like butter and was absolutely delicious. Roast potatoes and large Yorkshire puddings, ready to be doused in plentiful gravy, baked hispi cabbage, star anise carrots and the most incredible cauliflower cheese EVER! That meal will live on in my memory bank always.

Faultless Sunday lunch here with 3 friends. Friendly efficient service and superb food - the Dexter beef was a revelation! Can't wait to come again

DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. I booked and received a confirmation email. I have also received this invitation to review our meal. The only trouble is that THERE WAS NO MEAL. All we got was a brief sorry, no meals this week. Very disappointing after a long day’s drive in a village with little else. There is a small fish and chip/ Chinese takeaway. We resorted to that, it is of dubious quality. Definitely not good enough.

we stayed with friends , stay was lovely , reception were fabulous , down side , restaurant staff had no clue what they were doing , did nit know what a liquour coffee was , simply put a shot in a black cup of coffee? also the lamb was ridiculous one tiny little circle of lamb could hardley see it , for those prices its unacceptable , this needs to be sorted otherwise everything else was nice

We were staying at a cottage in Flookburgh so booked for Sunday tea as only a short walk away. The pub was lovely inside but we were extremely disappointed with the food and service. Our food was burley warm, my roast beef was very tough and gravy like water. My husband's steak was also very tough and the pepper sauce (an extra £2) was also very watery and only an a small amount. The worst pub meal we've had in along time. We were told the chef was working at full capacity but when we looked around the pub was only half full. It's such a shame as it could be a wonderful pub.

Booked this last minute and wasn’t disappointed. Service and food were both great. Staff were friendly and helpful!

We had eaten here on a previous trip to Lakeland (a year ago) and the Sunday lunch was great. This year we came on Wednesday Erving with my parents (7 of us altogether) and unfortunately it was a different story. Food was very poor quality (rubbery burgers, undercooked fish, cremated beans). One meal was completely missed and my partner had his meal after the rest of us had finished. Food seemed to be being sent back to the kitchen from multiple diners. Such a shame as the actual pub is nice and makes a change from the caravan site. We won’t go back there for food again.

First visit here, warm welcome. Pub was clean and tidy with lovely atmosphere. Food was usual pub grub, very nice, hot and no long waits for service. Would go back.

I booked a table on line, we arrived and wasn't expected as the WiFi had gone down. We were told we could eat but they could only take cash. The staff didn't really know what they were doing, we ordered but the food wasn't good, it was as though it had been pre cooked and then heated up from left overs. We just ate paid and left.

We visit Harry’s for the first evening meal yesterday and was very impressed. The dishes are chosen in advance which is good as avoids making decisions on the day. The food was excellent, portion sizes were perfect for us not being too big. A special mention to the staff who were very friendly
