Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Attentive & friendly staff. Fully booked but felt very well looked after. Couldn’t resist the Bakewell Tart for pud. Thoroughly enjoyed - not a “fine dining” experience but a fabulous evening in an obviously well- regarded establishment. Would happily return.

The best rack of lamb I’ve had and also the best meal so far this year. I considered havig it again for desert but instead had the cheese. Also Amazing. Wine was perfect. Very grateful to the staff for their attentive service. Well done to all.

Visited this small restaurant on our recent visit to Grasmere. It only has a very small kitchen and the food that came out of it is delicious . My husband said the sticky toffee pudding was the best he had tasted . If we lived nearer we would be regulars:)

Excellent prawns and scallops. Loved the steaks but where disappointed with chicken and gnocci dishes

Fab little restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. The scallop starter was particularly delicious as was the pork main according to my husband. Definitely recommend a visit!!

Fantastic. Whole experience at Lewis's was wonderful. The staff, atmosphere, decor and of course, the food. I had the tofu and my partner had the pork belly. Both excellent. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in Grasmere.
