Myself & my Wife came for a meal on 25/08/2022 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Excellent Service, food and atmosphere. Would book again next time we stay in Grasmere.

We had a delicious meal at Lewis's. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. They were short staffed on the night we visited, but the staff serving us were so friendly, it was not an issue. Portions are very generous. Would definitely recommend

Delicious meal and great service

We visit the Lake District twice a year & always book a meal in advance at the Bistro before we come up the food is lovely the staff friendly & it is part of our holiday.

Had a great meal at the bistro. French onion soup and belly pork were excellent. It had a friendly atmosphere, and the service was speedy and attentive. Portions were generous, but made room for the sweets which were lovely. Eccles cake with ice cream And Treacle and lemon curd. If your staying in Grasmere then it’s a must

Lovely meal in nice relaxed surroundings. Attentive and polite staff serving wonderful food. We are returning for more in a couple of days time.

What a fabulous place! The food, the decor and the staff , all outstanding. I had the pork and it was the tastiest I'd ever eaten. The staff were so friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. I will be recommending to family and friends and will definitely return in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner al fresco at Lewis's last week. Despite the busy evening, they were very attentive and the food was exceptional :) Very well done! :)

Lovely bistro and dog friendly too. Great food and attentive service. Ordered a bottle of the Amarone (Chef's favourite) and it didn't disappoint.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meals, varied menu choice, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, will definitely be back when next in Grasmere.

Recommend by the locals of Grassmere and we were not disappointed the food atmosphere and service top class treacle pudding to die for be aware you best book to avoid disappointment

Fabulous experience at Lewis’s restaurant ! Intimate and classy restaurant. Easy online booking system with great availability for a last minute shout. Wide and well thought out menu catering for all tastes & reasonably priced . Well cooked & delicious food, served promptly and courteously by the most friendly front of house staff. Drinks complimented the meal completely. Would definitely recommend and return.

Lovely meal there last night to celebrate our anniversary. Attentive staff and nice ambience despite being a man down. Hasta la vista.

We ate well from a lovely menu…our only issue was that we were too full up to order dessert. As a wine buff, I was glad to see some great bottles on the list too. The bonus for us was that it was dog friendly (with treats given to our pooch!).
