My wife and myself were staying in Grasmere for a couple of nights and whilst walking through the village early morning had a look at the menu which was very appealing, I had made a mistake when booking through app, when I phoned to change night the girl I think her name was Amanda changed my reservation without any problem, we had a great Night, food was amazing, staff Alex and Jenny nothing was to much trouble, highly recommended.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had a lovely meal at Lewis's last Saturday. I had sea bass and my husband had lamb. I then had the treacle and lemon curd tart and my husband had the cheese board. It was all delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

For myself, the 8hr slow cooked pork was divine! The staff were friendly and helpful. We will certainly visit again the next time we are in Grasmere.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThis was our third time dining at Lewis’s and was as good as it has been in the past. I had scallops and lamb chops, husband had the creamy mushrooms and the chicken pea curry. Our children ordered the arrabiatta pasta from the childrens menu. I know arrabiatta sauce is spicy but I thought it would be toned down for the childrens menu. Unfortunately not. However, the staff were wonderful with overtired (after a busy day) youngest son and offered him a replacement dish. Great value for money, the dishes are very substantial. We’re back in Grasmere in a couple of weeks so I’m sure we will be visiting the Bistro again.
