A nice bistro, very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good food and a good range of choices.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this lovely place. The staff are so friendly and attentive too. We tried to book for another evening but it is so popular that we couldn't get in - the best evening meal that we had during our stay in Grasmere by far; highly recommended.

4 of us dined at Lewis's on 30th April. The food and service was excellent, we had different dishes which were all delicious. The staff were attentive and very pleasant, thoroughly recommended.

Food was absolutely delicious, portions of main courses were really big. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the service was super speedy. We were on holiday but would certainly visit again if we are in the area.

My wife and me have been going to Lewis restaurant every time we visit the lakes which is two times every year. With out a doubt it’s the best restaurant in Grasmere. Fantastic food. Very friendly staff. Good selection of wines. Can’t fault anything about it. Would recommend that if you are in Grasmere definitely book a table. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a meal at Lewis’s last night. The menu is spot on, our only issue was struggling what to order! But what we did order we enjoyed. Staff are friendly and efficient, the bistro is lovely. Our second meal there and there will definitely be more!

We always visit this fabulous little gem of a restaurant when we visit the Lake District. Fabulous fresh cooked food all made on site including the desserts. Really friendly, jolly and attentive staff. Our 5 year old daughter also loves it and orders me to book a table every holiday. The Sea Bass and scallops are always a firm favourite plus a well stocked bar and wine list. We would highly recommend a visit to this boutique restaurant.

Visited of previous reviews and wasn't let down Service was great and had a nice atmosphere Only thing and its preference was the fat on the chops wasn't cooked until crisp or removed but food was faultless Definitely recommend and return
