Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereBooked up last minute following a recommendation from a friend. We arrived 15 minutes early and were very surprised how popular the restaurant was, and we were given the last available table. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food arrived very quickly because the other guests were either eating or had finished their meal. We had a bottle of wine, and although it was a little expensive it was very good. Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed the meal and wine, and we will definitely eat there again next time we are staying in Grasmere.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereHad a fantastic meal here on a beautiful August Friday night. Managed to sit outside with views of the mountains in our backdrop. The food and wine certainly matched the setting which was well presented and equally well made. The service was spot on and will definitely be back on our next visit to Grassmere.

The food was excellent quality and there was a lovely choice of dishes - sadly we went on our last night so we will have to wait until our next visit to try other items. Service was very friendly and helpful and the chef even came and gave our dog a bowlful of leftover ham which he was obviously delighted by! We will definitely visit again and can highly recommend.
