I can highly recommend the food and the staff where Lovley. However there was 1 issue This place is very dog friendly I get that I’m a dog lover myself but what I don’t expect is to be surrounded by dogs whilst eating my meal . I felt uncomfortable with the dogs watching me eat my steak I felt like I was going to get pounced on at any minute Can I suggest an area where no dogs allowed. And to the Lovley waitresses the tables need to be wiped down before you sit your guests I had sticky stuff all over my cloths and arms

Fantastic meal value for money and very friendly service

Meal for 4, Great food as usual have been a few times before and always happy to go back.

We both throughly enjoyed our meals and our night and next time we are in the area this will be must to visit 5 stars

The Best Restaurant I’ve ever been too. Great vibes. The aesthetic is cool. Staff are lovely. And the food is 10/10 delicious. Definitely recommend the restaurant. Be back soon ;)

Most authentic American food I’ve ever eaten

Totally dissatisfied and disappointed!! Will not be returning. Service at beginning and manager rude. Food inedible! Toilets falling apart. Was told the owners would call me to follow up on the appalling visit. No call, emailed them to give another chance and no reply. Such a shame as previous visit could not fault but this time round awful!

Absolutely spot on meal and service. Probably the best meat iv eaten. I do feel for the waitress who I stopped going down the stairs which caused her to fall on the stairs whilst holding meals in her hand. Im sure she finds it funny now. Lol

Visited the smokehouse during a weekend break to a local farm. Food was great, atmosphere was very friendly and a mention in particular to Amelia who despite being only her second shift was so attentive, helpful and cheerful :) We look forward to coming back Claire, and the ladies from Hertfordshire

My husband and I had a fabulous meal at the Smokehouse. The food was amazing,fresh,well cooked and well presented and the service was excellent,the staff were really friendly and welcoming,we will definitely be going back again.

Our meal was nice, we had a sharing platter to start and that was amazing, then our mains my partner had the Phillips dog, although it was nice, the steak on it was too chewy to eat so a little disappointing, I had the rack of Ribs and altho it was nice, I couldn't eat the end Rib as it was too chewy also, On the whole we did enjoy our meals and we will go back and try something else on the menu, the staff were very friendly, and there was a young lady who told us all about the meat and where they get it from, and how a brother and sister have made this such a lovely place to eat, the portions were huge, and reasonably priced too, we look forward to dining there again in the near future
