Hostess couldn't find my booking due to someone else putting it under another name and then made me show proof of call? Seated upstairs even with 2 small children 1 in a buggy. Staff were overwhelmed and arguing amongst each other. Food was average Electricity went during the meal leaving us to eat in the dark! Staff offered candles. No discount offered after eating the majority of our meal in the dark!? Even when we tried to explain how poor the service had been too the staff just stood there saying yes we understand but did nothing!! Not a very good experience

Recently visited Smokehouse for a birthday, as well as excellent food and excellent service, along with the band that was on the staff went out of their to decorate table for my friend without even asking them. Highly recommend to all

We loved it! Good food, good service and good vibe with the motor bike meet up. Also dogs are allowed in the bar. Very important for us

We didn’t even make it in to the restaurant for our meal due to the car park being completely filled with bikers… when I booked it no one told me that there was an event on… and when We did arrive We got told there was parking else where which there wasn’t and We wasn’t parking miles away due to have a baby and young kids with us… So we can’t comment on the food or the service!!

1st date night this year and it was lovely great food and great staff and service!!

This has got to be the best restaurant in Great Yarmouth! The food was incredible, portions massive, choice fantastic and service impeccable. The staff really could not do enough to make our experience great. In terms of the restaurant, the decor was sooo cool! I was impressed with how modern it was and even how much money has been put in down to the speakers and air purifiers!! Any restaurant where I can upgrade my fries to tatter tots and finish off with a Ben and Jerrys shake is a must for me. We will 100% be back! Thanks for having us!

I visited the smokehouse on Monday night. The welcome was extremely good, staff opened the door and were friendly. We sat at our table and had menus and a drinks order taken quickly. Unfortunately it went slightly downhill after this. When our starters were cleared we ordered more drinks with the waitress, these never arrived. We ordered 4 burgers and a mac and cheese for main. We got the 4 burgers and then the waiter asked if there was anything else we needed and we said 'no, just the last meal, mac and cheese'....as I was imediatly suspicious this had been forgotten about...the young lad wandered off back to the kitchen.....we waited 10 minutes and the meal still hadn't arrived, we then asked a waitress as it was quite clear the young lad hadn't done anything in relation to retrieving the final meal, the waitress swiftly bought the mac and cheese out, it was warm, So possibly had been left on the side and forgotten about....the bit I was actually most unimpressed about was the lack of apology and communication, neither of the waiters or waitresses even apologiesed for the delay, and no one came out to tell us that the meal was on the way, or would be a few minutes ect....one of the other waiters told us that most of the staff were new....so its clear they still need to train their staff and get the hang of things, the poor young lad almost looked scared when we said we still needed one more meal....however the food was delicious! Overall disappointed with the service but couldn't fault the food

booking was easy and greeted at the door on arrival and made to feel really welcome and safe, table was ready so taken through and seated..plenty of staff on hand for any help and new items on the menu... food was delivered quickly and lovely as usual.. so nice going back in a few days time ;-)

Ordered an appetiser which was good but half way through they bought our main meals to the table... very odd considering we were only halfway through the starter! They didn't even give us extra cutlery or napkins or take away the starter without asking. The table was tiny and was placed next to a large group so didn't really feel socially distanced. Overall we just felt very rushed but the food was good.

The best restaurant I’ve been too I’ve always said that I wouldn’t ever have a favorite restaurant, but the visit that I have had today I can say that I have finally found one. The food and the staff were amazing. After reading one of yesterday’s reviews they must be talking about a different restaurant or they may of had one too many drinks. I would just like to thank all the staff especially Roxanne and Kaeti.

The Smokehouse is an amazing place if you fancy a steak or a burger. We really enjoyed our visit. The menu is clear and easy to read, the waitress (Abbie) very professional and helpful in choosing the perfect burger for me ( and I'm very picky with my food). We were there with our two daughters and both girls were acknowledged by Abbie too! The food was delicious and portions generous. Overall we had an amazing evening and if we come that direction again we definitely will visit the Smokehouse again! Thank you for such an amazing dinner!

Visited whilst we were on holiday, best find whilst we were there, the food was amazing! The rack slabbath was huge so don't order a starter before! Abigael was our fab host, super friendly and helpful! We had a fab night! Wish we didn't live 3 and half hours away!

Whenever we come to Gt. Yarmouth to visit the in-laws, my wife and I always try to book this restaurant as we and the in-laws love the food and the atmosphere, you get from here. Visited 22nd May and everything was as expected, great food and plenty of it, great atmosphere from the minute you get out the car (music playing outside). Fantastic service by Abeagael our waitress for the night. Can't wait to visit again and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

So we travelled 200 miles for a holiday in Norfolk and had a lovely time. Stumbled across the Smokehouse and popped in for some lunch. I have to say that it was the best food find of our holiday and one of the best food finds we have had in some considerable time. Food was just delicious and we really are planning to go back again soon. The restraint was very clean and in keeping with a good smokehouse. The atmosphere was quiet with not many people in the room we were in. I can however imagine it with full tables and imagine that the atmosphere would remain really nice as the tables were well spread across the room giving a social but not imposing atmosphere. Finally the staff were lovely and not only catered for me and my partner but also took time and interest in our 3 year old. He also loved the food and enjoyed entertaining the waitresses. If I was to be very picky and find a negative then I would say it was on the pricy side. Value for money was very good in terms of food quality, service and atmosphere but don't expect a real budget time. The impression of the restraint as you pull up tells you its not a 2 for £10 and that was fine with us.

Me and my partner found this place randomly when looking for nearby restaurants to celebrate her birthday. We are so happy we found this one! Great food, generous portions and the staff are some of the best hosts/waiters I've encountered - personable, not too intrusive but also incredibly efficient. Shout out to Abigael, our host who was hilarious and very attentive. Absolutely superb, deserves a raise!

Thank you for a lovely evening it was worth the 1hour drive to you. We will definitely be returning.

Been to smoke house on numerous occasions before lockdown and visited it on Friday night Did not disappoint with great service and superb food( large portions ). We went in a group of 12 people( 2 tables) and service was prompt Would recommend a visit to here you would not be disappointed
