The Half Moon – PetersfieldGreat service, food and attention, despite a wake and a Probus lunch.
The Half Moon – PetersfieldRoast lamb was amazing. The lamb was very tender with very generous portions of vegetables. Great atmosphere with good music. Good service and friendly staff.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonSimply delicious food, beautifully presented, excellent warm and welcoming staff and atomosphere. Sunshine in the garden - it doesn't get any better! Lucky us!
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonExcellent meal while listening to Bob Pearce and Pete Harris
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonWe had a great time and a great meal with terrific live music at Platform Tavern on Saturday night. Service was excellent and we ate several tapas dishes, which were delicious. Our table mates had the burger, pie, and curry special, also tasty. Thanks for a lovely evening!
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonLovely Sunday lunch. However vegan Sunday roast option not available but I was able to have some risotto added to mine. Very good service although it was very busy. 2.30pm lunch booking.
The Half Moon – PetersfieldWarmly welcomed, served drinks quickly and shown table on arrival. Excellent choice of food, light bites and good selection of pub favourites. Food order was taken and food served up pipping hot and in very good time. Will definitely return
The Half Moon – PetersfieldUsual good atmosphere, friendly staff and good beers. New summer menu is great, generous portions of tapas as well as usuals.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonHad late Sunday lunch here last weekend( party of 5). Service was charming and prompt and all the plates were delicious. If you’re having the roast, turn up hungry as it’s a very generous helping. Definitely recommend this venue.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonHmmmm Got there at 6- friend sat and wasn’t asked if she wanted a drink. We do arrive late at 615. We get our order taken at 6.45!( the delay that caused the issue). We had not been able to flag a member of staff down - way too many people and the staff could not cope. Food came out at 7.20….. theatre started at 7.30, paid £16 for a burger I ate out of a box cold in ten interval because we didn’t have the heart to kick up a fuss. Waitress was very apologetic and did discount our drinks but other members of staff seemed less concerned dithering and making her job harder. Would not go back- the mayflower village are excellent and know how to get people through fast and in time for the show.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonWe had a lovely meal here - beautifully cooked and good value
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWe had a lovely meal here - beautifully cooked and good value

The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonTwice we have visited and both times we have had a delicious meal. The staff have great customer service and go out of their way to accommodate your needs.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonThe food and service was awful will not be going back or recommending especially as staff were unaware their was a theatre performance on !! Such a shame as a good location for the mayflower also not pleasant when u can here staff moaning about the customers when I used the toilet
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonLovely atmosphere and friendly staff who were easy to have a laugh with and accommodating when traffic made us slightly late. Food was lovely, great flavours. The drinks selection is fairly limited, particularly the wine.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonWe enjoyed the music at the platform while having a nice dinner with friends. The food was good, scored 70% for the burgers and 80% for the roasts.
