We had such a good night on Friday. The service and food was amazing. We had the Christmas Fayre menu and we all loved it. Pate was lovely - you get LOADS, maybe too much for the pate to bread ratio but it was lovely. Turkey was amazing, veg cooked beautifully and I had the apple / mince pie crumble and have been craving it since! Hoping to come back Monday! Only slight complaint was that it was cold by the window for some of us but it’s hard to get a happy medium with large rooms and the waiter was happy to put the heating on!

A nice place to visit. Attentive staff. But as part of a party of nine, two meals were tough, crispy around the edge’s and dry - as if they had stood under the heat lamp in the kitchen for some time prior to service.

Food was excellent although don't think chips were triple cooked.

Service and value for money were excellent. We both ordered fillet steaks. The meal would have been outstanding if the steak had been cooked to our liking. We both ordered medium rare and it was extremely well done. It was such a shame as a lovely piece of meat.

Was here in Thursday night me & 2 friends we opted for 3 little pigs from menu which was lovely , then had sticky toffee pudding & ice cream ,

As amazing as the staff was and some of the food was beautiful we waited an excessive amount of time for our food even though we pre ordered half of the meals at the table had to be sent back due to being cold however this was delt with very quickly 2 of our meals didn’t actually turn up until after the other meals were brought back! The portions on the other hand were massive great value for money! We would go back!

Recently moved to the area and found the beehive via Facebook, the food looked amazing which draw us in. We booked for the Christmas fare and were not disappointed. The team were very attentive and polite. The food was very nice and great portions. Great selection of food and great flavours, compliments to the chef. We will absolutely be going back.

I booked a table for 11 on Sunday to celebrate my recent birthday. The food was great and staff were very helpful. There was a slight confusion over some being given turkey instead of chicken but it was no issue. We’ll definitely be returning!

Staff are wonderful. Food just as good. So kind.

Myself and five friends had a lovely lunchtime meal here on Tuesday, 3rd December. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and my festive menu was beautiful. The Christmas pudding was delicious although could have been warmer. However we still enjoyed it. Excellent service too.

Been going to the Beehive for over 30 years and never disappoints. Always recommending the food to friends and colleagues as know they will enjoy the brilliant experience it never fails to deliver :)

Amazing food and service. Lovely friendly staff and beautiful place. The only issue was they needed the table back, which is understandable and not a issue, but there was nowhere we could sit in the bar area for a few extra drinks as a few of the tables in the bar area were reserved for dinners. so we ended up having to go else where which was a shame as we would have liked to stay for a bit longer. Wouldn't put me off going back for food though as the quality was outstanding.
