Had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. Good food, good service (by all staff) and no ‘pushing’ for us to vacate our table for the next customers!

Chestfield Barn – WhitstableReally great value and excellent food as ever, my guests were very impressed and said they would return, as will I. Our waitresses were very attentive, courteous and delivered great service throughout our meal.

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeExcellent Sunday lunch with friendly staff
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeThe atmosphere was very warm with lovely wood burning stove and hops hanging from old oak beams , spent a couple of hours relaxing whilst enjoying the best roast dinner for many a mile. Excellent perfect roast pork and crackling, selection of roasted root veggies just on point. And the potatoes were delicious, greens were perfect not soggy, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend food and service. Just wish we had a little long of our time to stay for dessert, would come again .
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeAlways good food with some nice additions to standard pub fayre. Had the braised rib which fell apart as it should and my friend loved the Stroganoff. Portions will test the biggest appetites. Service tremendous and personalised. Went on Friday and it was nearly empty hence low score on atmosphere. Deserves more of our support - it's no further from Tonbridge than other more fashionable hostelries.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWow what a lovely meal. We had a three course meal very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food. All three courses were superb in taste and presentation. Will definitely revisit for more wonderful food and great service from all the team. Nothing was too much hassle or trouble and they were very friendly even when we were still chatting and they wanted to go home after a long day.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeExcellent Sunday lunch with a friend and very kind to the 2 dogs with us, burgers and chips were great. Service good and good VfM. Chilled atmosphere, fireplace or outside seating available. Can see how this would fill up in summer!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeBeat expectations. Great, delicious Sunday lunch - unfortunately there was no room for pudding! All staff were super-efficient and friendly. A v minor criticism is that the restaurant part does not quite have the same " ye olde country pub" feel like the bar area. Could be easily remedied.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeLovely Sunday Roast. Brilliant for families with children. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeAmazing roasts , very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for better on a Sunday afternoon!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWe booked a table for 10 yesterday. Three family birthdays in one meal. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They really looked after us even singing when they presented the cakes we took with us. The food was amazing and pork scratching absolutely delicious.

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeHad a Sunday lunch on 16 th January 2022. We were a group of 5 which included a child and a dog. We were made very welcome and the dog was offered water. The menu was varied and we were impressed with the food. Portions were generous. Log burning stoves were lit and there was a lovely welcoming atmosphere in the very pretty pub. We will certainly go there again.

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeFood was fantastic as was the service and friendliness of all the stay
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWe absolutely love The Plough! Really cosy family and dog friendly pub with a cracking Sunday roast which no other pub for many, many miles could hope to compete with. Don't ever let that chef go! Not exactly cheap food wise, but you get what you pay for. Great selection of ales and all the staff are lovely, service always perfect. Could do with some better Scotch behind the bar but that is my only small gripe.
