Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamHad dinner at Partenopei last night. Food is very good. Ambiance and staff are very good as well. A very personal experience. Would highly recommend
Partenopei – BroadstairsWhat a great place, there are so many food choices to choose from and the food its self is very good. The serving dishes were always full and clean and the desserts were so good. The staff are helpful and very polite. It's definitely good value for the amout of food you can eat. I have been there before and it was too busy but this time it was a lot quieter and was a much better experience. I can't fault it.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamGreat value for money. One of the best buffet restaurants I have ever been too. Great quality food with an amazing selection.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamExcellent food, great value for money
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamSo, I hadn't been here before, I had been to other world buffets though. Not a great selection of chinses dishes- loads of rice though. No chinses curry, no chicken and black bean, no chicken in oyster sauce for example. Lamb keema is nice, as were the garlic prawns. Other patrons kept leaving the lids open which is irritating, so some of the food was cold and staff just walked past sighing without actually closing them. And the Italian section wasn't great, the pasta was all rock hard. Mac and cheese had zero flavour. Waiting staff were nice. The woman on the door not so much, rude and curt. Refillable drinks were good. And dessert selection was good- Eton mess was amazing! I personally think it's pretty expensive for what you get, compared to other places of a similar style. Also the height chart system is ridiculous, my son, 12, was charged an adult price because he's tall...
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamExcellent on all accounts.

Spoon World Buffet and Bar – Chatham5 star!
Partenopei – BroadstairsWe booked a table for lunch with friends, our first visit on a Sunday. 3 of our group are coeliac and we were delighted about the care and thought that has gone into the menu, catering for gluten free diners! We appreciated it so much we felt compelled to try all 3 courses, something we can rarely do in restaurants beyond the standard 'prawn cocktail' or ice cream options. The food was delicious, the real food for smaller appetites (children) option was also brilliant, not least the gf sticky toffee pudding! Staff were very helpful and the cosy pub and beautiful gardens were just what we hoped for. Thank you to all at the Plough, we'll be back!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeSuperb food, service incredible, wasn't very busy but background music created a great atmosphere. Will be back very soon.
Partenopei – BroadstairsI wanted to say thank you to my friend, Myrna, who looked after my dog, Lola, for a night and a day and I couldn’t think of a better way than to bring her to Partenopei, the wonderful new Italian restaurant in Broadstairs. We arrived and were seated at a table in the window where we could watch the world go by. We both ordered the Antipasto Italiano from the lunchtime menu, as a starter. Myrna couldn’t find exactly what she wanted on the menu for her main course so discussed it with the chef who sent out a plate of spaghetti cooked in a garlic, chilli and white wine sauce with fresh clams, mussels and king sized prawn with cherry tomatoes. I had spaghetti alle cozze, which was almost the same as Myrna’s but without the clams, prawn and tomatoes! It was delicious and filling and our tummies were full but we couldn’t miss out on the Italian gelato on offer as a dessert, which was beautifully served with a few fresh berries. We’ll both be going back to Partnenopei soon!
