Stunning country pub, amazing food at reasonable prices, and amazing service !

Visited the Plough in September 2023 for a few evenings in a row....loved the ambiance, the wonderful staff, Angela, Darren and Meghan, and the very good food and sublime wines from New Zealand. We promissed to come back. So we did last Sunday, 12th of May 2024. And again it was absolutelt flawless! Although Darren had a day off, Angela and Meghan showed how perfect they serve the guests. It was again a delight and the food once again delicious. Will we be back from The Netherlands to come over to The Plough? We certainly will return! Thanks Angela and Meghan, the chefs and all the staff of The Plough. They made us feel at home away from home.

We attended for lunch as a group of 10 people on a sunny Saturday, managed to find seating in the garden easily. Kids all loved running around and playing in the playground. Food all arrived in good time and was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend the plough to anyone - keep up the good work guys

We went to spoons on Friday evening ( not the first time and definitely not the last) Food was delicious, hot and plenty of different dishes to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters . Staff always polite and friendly See you soon

Lovely meal for seven of us. Nice and tasty, but a bit cold unfortunately. Still enjoyed it tho.

Great atmosphere. Great service from the front of house. However, the chefs behind the steak counter let it down MASSIVELY! They do not acknowledge you and they do not have facial expressions. You ask then nicely for a steak and they will simply stair at you in an uncomfortable way. Then they will ignore you. I had to ask this tall man 5 times if I can have a steak. As I went to walk off he then opened an old ice cream tub and picked out a thin steak. They are seriously odd! Our table watched this happen a lot! Especially to women! The food was nice but most of the chicken was rubbery, either frozen or it was not chicken. Out of 5 stars we would give 2.

The food was below average, I had a little bit of a lot. The meat was especially poor. The rice, noodles etc had very little in it, ime special fried rice lacked anything other than rice and egg, it looked mostly the same as the egg fried rice. Deserts were a small selection including popcorn. The staff were okay, but I had to move out of their way on two occasions, they were polite when I did, but really should bethe other wayaround I'm a beer drinker, there were 2 beers, San Miguel and carlsberg. The San Miguel was so poor that I didn't even try a second so that was all I drank aside from water (which they tried to charge me for) The price was above average. As in I could have gone to one of ten other restaurants paid roughly the same amount and had good food. The food weather spoons serve in Rochester is much better in general, which says alot imo. Overall I would not go back here.

Took the kids to Spoons as we all love the place , and as always the service , staff and food was as fantastic as it always has been I cannot fault that. My only gripe however is the pricing , specifically charging according to height which meant my 3 children all ate at adult price despite being 9 10 and 12 , so after that plus myself and a teenager and then refillable drinks it came to £115.00 , a little steep to be making a return trip if I’m honest.

Went here family of 6 and unfortunately not for us we tryed it but wouldn’t go again We as a family prefer a good quality restaurant that is specialist in what you want to eat ie Indian Chinese Sea food Italian Etc Spoons had it all but none of it quality like you would get in a good restaurant It was just like being in an all inclusive buffet abroad but more packed

Fantastic new restaurant in Broadstairs. Not your ‘normal’ Italian. The atmosphere, service and food was all exceptional. We will definitely be back again and again.

Another brillliant meal. Have never had cause to complain in all the yers we've been eating here, from 2008 on opening. Jack and his staff are very hard working and so polite. It was a bit of a shame that there were some very loud diners celebrating who probably didn't realise or didn't care about others. We'll be back for sure.

We went to spoons on Sunday 5th May, We booked for 5pm but was 20 minutes early. They sat us straight away. The staff were very polite and the lady behind the bar was very friendly. The food was very good and we had a really good time. We had 90 minutes and stayed slightly longer but it was very busy and nobody rushed us. It was a very good evening and enjoyed the food a great deal. Very busy place with lots of people moving around and the staff have a very hard job but they seem to do it with a smile. Well done.

My partner and I had the most amazing dinner at Bangkok Pavilion. We love Thai food and this was most definitely our favourite. We live in Brighton and was down for the weekend and decided to try here and we wasn’t disappointed at all. Food, service, price & the whole experience was perfect! Will absolutely be back when we visit Deal again!
