Really good food. Service was slow, but due to a rush, and we were in no hurry so not an issue. They do seem to have problems with real ale though, last time we wre here I was told none was available as it had just run out. This time a choice of two very soon became a choice of one. Landlord said that he sold all the Tonbridge copper knob in 3.5 hours. My advice would therfor be to have more than juts two on taps.

Absolutely amazing Sunday roast once again, portion sizes are very generous and extremely tasty. We love to come to the Plough for a roast every now and again - best one we have found in miles. Keep up the good work guys

I came to spoons Chatham on 22/02/24 booked table for 7 pm the service from walking in was excellent the food was absolute gorgeous has always never had bad food here love coming spoons well worth the £18.99

We had a really lovely evening meal at the Plough. We were seated in the snug which looked lovely lit up with fairy lights. Food was delicious with a good range of veggie options. There was a good variety of drinks. Service was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Dinner food selection was good. A lot of chinese and indian selections. A few english dishes, pizza bar and sushi bar. Was clean and tidy and well presented. However There are far to many tables crammed into the restaurant- customers are basically elbow to elbow with other people. It is also far to hot in there to the point were it is uncomfortable and you can not enjoy your meal. The pudding selection we found was also slacking and not very clean. Toilets also need looking at broken taps and very dated making them appear dirty.

Lovely setting for a meal, low oak beams (watch your head if over 6 foot) and fire. Huge garden in summer. Our meal was really tasty and the service friendly. I welcome the return of the set menu for a cheaper dining experience.

Have used this restaurant since it opened back in the early 2000's, it was my parents favourite. Sadly they are no longer with us but we still book there as the food is brilliant so we always enjoy going. Never had a meal where any item wasn't up to standard. The staff are helpful and polite. We hope that this place continues to serve Deal and we will certainly be back time and again.

Food was not great , been loads times but this time it was not nice at all , some of the chicken I had was raw , the toilets were totally awful, put me off going bk again kids loved the afters

Really enjoyed our food although husband would prefer Brit cooked a bit more, next time we will ask, delicious desserts Relaxed atmosphere and felt very welcoming Only one criticism, I didn’t like the cutlery as I found them uncomfortable to use, other than that top marks all round and we will be happy to book again

Horrendous food. We have been before and it was lovely. This time the food was flavourless and cold don't think we will be returning unfortunately
