Great experience at the restaurant, could have appreciated if we could have been given a better table position or an option to choose, I had booked almost a month in advance. Can you give an option of making payment online, it reduced the level of standard to have to wait in a queue.

So happy to have a local this good on our door step. Beautifully designed inside and a menu we want to work our way through. We both Had a roast (Tasty and well priced- just not hot enough) and my daughter had the spag Bol which was extremely good for a children’s menu really rich deep flavour! (we ate the leftovers) The atmosphere was buzzing lots of happy faces, chatter and good music, the only negative was inattentive & very young staff. Paul the owner was great but could only do so much with a full restaurant, I imagine this is just teething problems getting the staff to understand the ecxpectations of its diners. Will be back often, great wine list too & And puddings!

The transformation of the Fox is beautiful, really lovely decor. However, I hate to say very disappointing Sunday lunch yesterday , Scallops were nearly cold, Popcorn chicken was overdone. The Pork Loin was very fatty , chicken roast came out without bread sauce and when it arrived it was cold. It was heated up when we asked. All the roasts were warm not hot. It was tasty though. The lovely staff were trying so hard and we were gifted 3 desserts which was very kind. I know it’s only just opened but they are expererienced hosts so we would have thought it would have been better. We will try again I expect. It’s such a lovely vibe and great for a place to stop on a dog walk as dogs were made very welcome in the bar area! Wishing them every success here as it’s so nice to have somewhere lovely to go .

The Fox Brasserie has a friendly down to earth service and wonderful atmosphere. I had a lovely vegetarian lunch of beetroot wellington and I am looking forward to other options they might have in the future. I love the real fireplace flickering and its cosy style brasserie interior, with an extremely cute dog feeling at home around the place. I would recommend booking a meal as I see this Keston secret becoming extremely popular very fast.

Stopped here for lunch while out for a walk. Beautiful decor and friendly staff. For the price, though, the vegan roast was not good value. Compared to the identically priced meat roasts it came with less on the plate, and no Yorkshire pudding (choice should be offered). The food was fine, but the prices implied it would be better. Needs attention or there's no reason to bother going again. Prices did not match in all published places. I am optimistic that if we visit again in 6 months some of these teething issues will be ironed out.

The only place I now go for a Sunday Roast. Lovely place, staff and Amazing food!

A beautifully designed interior which creates a warm, homely atmosphere. Plenty of space between tables. A very generous portion of fish in batter :-)

First visit since reopening. Paul and his wife have hit the ground running. Wonderful Friday evening dinner. Popcorn chicken starter -excellent. Fish and chips - even better. Decor and ambience totally in keeping It was a bit noisy but that was because of the number of people in there having a great evening. If you live within 20 miles, visiting is a must.

Great food, great atmosphere

We had a fantastic evening meal at the Fox Inn on Saturday night. Lovely food and atmosphere with very attentive staff.

Had a really lovely evening at the Fox. So much more the sort of pub for the community compared to how its been for the past few years. Cosy, warm, friendly, the staff were attentive and the food was v tasty. Portion sizes of what I ordered weren't massive, but others in my group had more substantial meals. Didn't matter to me as it meant I could fit in a delicious dessert (chocolate gnocchi). Pinot Grigio was really lovely too.

I’m so happy with our new local! Place looks incredible, stylish and cosy! All staff were so welcoming and attentive. Food was lovely and service was great. Can not wait to return and bring my friends and family.

Excellent food and service.

A lovely old English pub with a really nice atmosphere. Welcomed with a smile and received great service. We had a superb pub lunch sitting beside the log fire. I thoroughly recommend a visit to the Plough.
