The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeLovely Sunday roast washed down with a gorgeous Romanian Pinot noir. 4 people with drinks and a couple of deserts came to just under £140 so not bad value. This historical pub has a cosy atmosphere and staff are helpful, cheery and knowledgeable. Check the website to see if it's open as it's often closed if there is a wedding on.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeNice pub. Good food. Friendly service. Reasonable price. What more can I say?

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWent to the Bangkok Pavilion for the first time last Friday evening as a table of 4. First impressions were great, it’s quite a large restaurant with high ceilings and lots of Thai style wooden features and furniture. We chose one of the set menus as the choice is vast. We weren’t disappointed; delicious and varied food and more than enough for all of us. The Monsoon Valley Shiraz was very nice and good value. Friendly staff and a very witty manager. We will be going again soon and are sorry that we hadn’t been before!
Bangkok Pavilion – DealLovely meal with very attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeReally good roast lunch. And the food was only bettered by the service from the staff, very helpful indeed, went the extra mile to answer questions and to cater for allergies and food intolerances. We are a walking group who visit around 50 local pubs each year, and this one is definitely in the top ten, maybe the top three.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeAn excellent meal, well cooked, with friendly service. We will return
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeA very tender chicken burger. One of the nicest elements of the evening was the warmth of the welcome though. Lovely service.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeVery well looked after from beginning to end. The Parsnip & Carrot soup was a welcome winter warmer for the both of us. This was followed by a Pan fried Salmon Fillet cooked as ordered and a good sized portion. I had the Vegetarian Curry. I was a bit apprehensive and not quite sure what to expect. It was certainly the right choice and would order this again on our next visit. All in all a great experience in an ideal setting. Rob, the chef, certainly knows his stuff and we would certainly recommend a visit if the opportunity arises. Well done Rob!!!
Bay Tree Restaurant – BroadstairsWe had a fantastic meal at the restaurant on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was buzzing, the food was great, the service swift and the waiting staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.
Bangkok Pavilion – Dealvery nice food and service
Bangkok Pavilion – DealWe have not stayed in Kent previously and looked around for what seemed to be our ideal location and hotel. We were not disappointed as the room was excellent as was the attitude of the owners and staff. The breakfast was genuinely the best I have ever had from any hotel and the evening meal choice and quality was perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bay Tree as a restaurant or hotel.
Bay Tree Restaurant – BroadstairsGreat decor, friendly service, delicious food; their coconut rice is a must. Very reasonably priced too.
