Once again we had an excellent evening at Vesuvius, the restaurant was extremely busy but the service remained swift and efficient. Excellent food and drinks as always.

Hadn't been to Vesuvius for a while, and then have visited 3 times in 3 weeks. Once for an evening and then twice for lunch, both times having the set lunch menu which is incredibly good value for money. It goes without saying in my view that the staff are friendly, the food always delicious and there is a wonderful variety of dishes to choose from. This place really is a bit of a hidden gem.

The food was amazing, service really good and ultimately it was another great experience here. Will definitely be back!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Set menu exceptional value. Wine was good and reasonably priced even by the glass. A good recommendation these days. The service was very good. Will definitely be coming again.

One word "AMAZING" We have been dining here every fortnight sometimes even weekly ever since it opened!! Superb food,superb staff in Rosie,Max and of course Mirabella.In my book, the best place we have ever eaten in !Very few restaurants seem to get it right but Vesuvius is Top Banana!!!!!Once you eat there ,you will go back for more.

Slab was recommended to us by a friend and it was one of our best decisions to go. We were a party of 6 but got served very quickly and together. The food was delicious, hot and extremely tasty. We will definitely go again

Eating in Vesuvius is always an experience to look forward to. We ate there again on Friday 25th November, and, as always, the evening went superbly. Friendly service, superb food and good value for money. The restaurant was full, but the attention from the waiting staff was exemplary - friendly but not intrusive. Full marks to Alessandro and his team - we will be back soon.

I’m very fussy about my roast dinner, for me it’s all about the potatoes and I have to say this is the best roast dinner I’ve eaten out. We had a table of 12 and not one person had a fault. Service was amazing and the pub is lovely. Highly recommend.

Great food, particularly the soap, curry and King prawns. The service was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not very warm because we think the heating was off- probably due to the very high energy prices at the moment- they do need to try to heat the place to help the ambience. Value for money- we will definitely be back in the future when we are in deal again.

The menu choices are amazing with something for everyone. We were advised to go there pre pandemic and have never had anything less than great food, great service and great portions. So pleased that they have survived and will definitely go there again. Highly recommended

Always have a good time at Vesuvius. Everyone is so friendly. The food is really good and the atmosphere is great.
