It is always worth the drive from Lancaster. The food is excellent,really special we have never been disappointed, and service is always very pleasant and just in the right speed.

The ambience is very good. The menu has a good variance and is good value. Staff know their job well and are very knowledgeable. Well worth a visit as there aren’t very many restaurants as good as this in the area. Treat yourself.

We had a wonderful lunch at the Lunesdale. We loved the food, atmosphere, decor and the super staff.

Wonderful food and service. Imaginative, first class menu. Souffle was outstanding. Staff superb,with that kind of friendliness you want to return to again and again.

Sunday lunch with a friend and wasn't disappointed; starters were Bruschetta and Spanish Hash, mains were fish and chips and burger - you class, taste sensations, excellent service - highly recommended

Everything about The Lunesdale is consistently great! The food, the ambience, the music, and of course the friendly yet professional staff! It is by far our favourite restaurant, we always have a wonderful experience and find it impossible to beat locally. Full marks!

Lunesdale Arms was recommended to us by a good friend who rates the restaurant very highly. Following a lunch to celebrate a birthday we too thought the Lunesdale Arms was excellent. Table service was efficient, friendly and professional. food was extremely good (fish pie and Duck choices were beautifully cooked and piping hot (not always the case at many places these days). Both sweets were fabulous (Bread and butter pudding was outstanding) We shall return.

Got wrong date,however landlord very understanding and rescheduled for us,the food was exceptional and the staff fantastic ,if we are ever nr here again would certainly be visiting again,the pub is modern and inviting thanks to all the staff at Lunesdale Arms 5* from us
