The Traders Arms – BlackburnHad my son's 18th birthday meal here on Saturday night. Everyone agreed the food was excellent and service was brilliant, even with the place seemingly fully booked. Thanks to everyone for a great evening!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGreat service Great food Great atmosphere
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyI booked a table for four people on Sunday 1st March. We turned up to be told that they had run out of Sunday Roasts and this was at 4pm. I have never eaten anywhere else where this has been the case. What a real shame. However, the food we ordered was nice but I was so looking forward to a roast.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAmazing as ever! great food, service & atmosphere-highly recommended.
Bread and Butter – PrestonVisited yesterday and the food was excellent. The staff are lovely and make it a very enjoyable experience.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkVisited for the first time - delicious Sunday Roast - friendly staff - great food - lovely pub - definitely recommended.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenNice place and atmosphere. It was fairly busy when we dined, but a tad cold. Most of the food was good. The fish pie was supposed to be in a ‘creamy veloute’, unfortunately it was dry under the mashed potatoes. There was plenty of fish and the taste was good. The only zero lager was Peroni which was acceptable, but l would have preferred a choice. Why not do half portions!? I do not like to be over faced. I couldn’t have eaten the roast dinner as too big.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe always have the carvery at the plough and have never been disappointed
The Plough Inn – OrmskirkRoast dinner is 10/10, very delicious and would recommend! The stuffing and Yorkshire pudding were the highlights for me. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe restaurant is nicely played out the service is very good the daily menu is good value. The food was well cooked and tasty.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWonderful pub and restaurant. Really friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious, Sunday roast, we only had the smaller serving but this was enough with a fabulous dessert too. Excellent, we have booked a lunch after our wedding here now too.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenThank you Bread and Butter. Another excellent Sunday Roast. We'd booked for a special occasion and you really looked after us.
Bread and Butter – PrestonAlways a warm welcome at Bees! Staff and food are lovely, and very reasonably priced. Dog friendly as well. Bees is our favourite Chorley eatery!
Bees Kitchen and Deli – ChorleyBooked a table for 14 people for a baby shower with some family and friends of the mum to be. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the run up to the day and I provided preorders in advance for everyone's meals. Food came quickly and was delicious and great price for the size of the meal (chicken schwarma was amazing). Even paying the bill which can be a nightmare at some places when you dine in a big group was handled efficiently :) thank you!
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonWe visited on Saturday 28.2.2026, I have to say that the food was really nice and the staff where so pleasant and helpful. We didn't feel rushed to vacate our table like other restaurants that we have visited in the past. Look forward to returning in the summer months overlooking the lake. We will be back.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyNot the best meal in the 20 plus years of supporting this place. Soufflés starter was excellent, but the main course ( brisket with pancetta in a suet crust) was uninspired, lacking flavour and veg ditto. The portion (and my wife’s different choice ) were huge. Much too big. Reduce the portions please and bring back the flavour. Service attentive and friendly, and wine prices very reasonable.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe love 3 Millstones, it's our favourite restaurant. The food is always delicious and the ambience is cosy and intimate. The staff are helpful and friendly. What's not to love?
