A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFood was out this world the platter was engough . Could more free bread
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe visited for breakfast. The service was good, if a little slow, and the foot was lovely. Very reasonably priced and delicious.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonVisited for the first time after reading good reviews. Just had main courses , beef stroganoff for er indoors and I had the ribs which just fell off the bone. Really tasty but only 10 chips in the portion was a bit miserly. Could have bunged on a tomatoe or a few peas to add colour. Not sure on the good value for money comment but we are in expensive times. Don't forget to give your car number plate in or you may get a ticket which could spoil the whole experience somewhat.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonMy wife and I had a lovely meal early evening. Fresh tasty food in a nice setting and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeAs a regular visitor, I am always delighted with the whole experience of a meal at Tom’s Table. The ambiance, quality of staff and incredible food, all combine to guarantee an exceptional occasion.
Toms Table – ClitheroeExcellent food and great value
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroePopped in to treat a family member to lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the large menu choice. The meal was delicious served by very attentive staff....it certainly won't be our last visit
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWhat a gem this restaurant is. Nestled in a courtyard off Clitheroe's main Street you could easily miss it. Pipping hot food served beautifully in bistro style. Wine selection is good and the menu has suggestions. Service is relaxed and friendly. Highly recommend a visit.
Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat service. Amazing with children! Always have a lovely meal and always look forward to coming. Thank you
Papa Luigis – ChorleyI like the restaurant; the food is always good. The other night was a bit disappointing because they were apparently a few staff down. The drinks were slow coming from the bar. People were getting their own and walking back with them. However, it did not spoil things and all the other times we have been it has been really good.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood delicious and service very good
Anatolia Grill – St HelensHad a lovely meal on Tuesday night, the starters were extremely large with plenty of prawns and smoked salmon and the ribs I am told were amazing. Could not fault the food at all it was delicious. The staff too were very attentive and there was a nice ambience. The food was very good value for money. My only criticism is that to charge £3.30 for a pint of soda water with blackcurrant and ice is far too expensive!
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFirst time for us and we’re wondering why it took so long for us to get here. A real bistro feel about the place, with a sense of casual but the service and staff were very organised and businesslike. Like a lot of restaurants you know that they need to get as many covers as possible in a serving session , and while we were seated for a good while nobody held a gun to our head. THE FOOD, we shared a squid starter (regular fare) my main was a pasta dish and my wife had potato with chicken. Both were were served style and a smile and were full of many flavours. We shared a sticky toffee pud, again I guess standard stuff. A couple and coffee's and we were gone. So in summary, great location, pretty good food, excellent and businesslike service. It gets very noisy when the place fills up, and try some novel starters and puds.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFantastic food, and fantastic friendly staff. One of my favourite restaurants
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFirst visit to Sydney's on Saturday evening with 4 friends. What an amazing place this is! The decor inside is so relaxing and beautifully done, and so welcoming. The service was first class, the young waiter and waitress couldn't do enough for us, even helping out with bill at the end! The food was the best I have had in a while, the sharing boards were delicious and two of us had the special Chateaubriand, the nicest cooked steak ever. A wonderful evening had by all, can't wait to return!
