Toms Table – ClitheroeWe had out Christmas party at the Ginger bistro. Great night out. Good food and great choice from the Christmas menu. Everything was beautiful and nicely presented. The staff were very pleasant and looked after us well. Thank you for an enjoyable evening, we hope to see you soon for our next event.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonExcellent service as always. Good fresh, hot & delicious
Astoria – BurnleyWe had a great meal at the Sultan. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food was really tasty. It's an amazing location too. If looking for a really good curry this is a place to visit.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterExcellent meal, lovely staff and very warm welcome.
Toms Table – ClitheroeThis is my favourite pub for food , in Lancaster . From reopening after lockdown through to now : food is good , good value for money , good atmosphere and helpful staff.
The Waterwitch – LancasterMy sisters and myself visited the Ginger Bistro for breakfast yesterday. It was our second visit. Everything was perfect, Beautiful breakfast, including the Vegetarian, small breakfast, omelette and eggs benedict. The young man and lady who waited on us were polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We are going to return to try out the lunch menu, next time. Looking forward to returning to a warm welcoming bistro. Thank you
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonIn these times it is good to see a restaurant do ING do well and after eating here it is not hard to see why. The these is essentially rustic tuscan Tapas and far away from the usual Italian restaurant experience. It works particularly well. My wife and I had a selection of vegetarian dishes and the ability to try several flavours and textures worked particularly well. Added to that the friendly service in a lively ambience means that I would not hesitate in returning. Bravo.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe come here as often as we can for Business meetings with colleagues from around the UK. Monday evening was for three. The service was superb. Young waitress really looked after us. Food outstanding, My two colleagues had the Monk Fish... wonderful. Overall a very splendid evening.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkNever disappoints! Staff are friendly and helpful and provide a high standard of service. The food is amazing and the wine is the best on offer. I cannot fault anything in this restaurant as Mikey and his team always go above and beyond to ensure you have the best time there.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallHad another wonderful meal at Whins Green yesterday. The usual friendly service and delicious food. The roast dinner was tasty and just what was needed on a grey day. The Tiramisu was light and scrumptious.
Whins Green KitchenWe went for lunch on the 30th Nov. The food was really very good. There we’re 4 of us , a couple had starters , Baked Halloumi, and Onion soup. 2 mains were Steak and Kidney pie with chips, which I was told was lovely, pastry well cooked and plenty of filling The table server offered us extra gravy on the side in a small jug, which we were charged £2.50, ( bit pricy) . Another guest had the Sea food platter, which was all lovely, quite a lot of fish , but a take away box was offered. I had Chicken Kiev , which is totally retro but I thought , let’s try it. It wasn’t how I remembered it tho, the melted butter was in a small dish on the side, not as I thought it would have been , in the centre of the chicken breast, it was also wrapped in bacon, with I think a crumb coating. It tasted really good, the chicken was moist and a generous portion size, together with chips, coleslaw and a serving of iceberg lettuce with Parmesan shavings, made a very tasty meal, however not Chicken Kiev as I recalled it. The service was excellent, all staff we spoke with were very chatty and friendly, the ambiance of the place is lovely, plus very clean, warm and welcoming . We will be back . Thank you.
Black Bull Inn – BlackburnLovely pub, great food and very friendly staff, had a wonderful time, will definitely visit again and great value for money
Black Bull Inn – BlackburnFabulous food, wine and service. The avocado and crab starter was beautifully presented and delicious. Had lobster special....and it was. Affogato with mirto was great. Best restaurant in our area and wider.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood and service was very good and great value. The only downside was our table which was next to the door for access to the ladies toilets, on saying that we came back the next day for lunch which again was great value and tasty .it’s certainly a place we will visit again next time we are in Burnley.
Astoria – BurnleyBeen coming here for over 20 years, I’ve not had one bad meal yet. It should be a Michelin star Resturant. Staff are fantastic, make you feel so welcome. Sam totally runs the whole place, like clockwork, she’s so friendly, warm and knowledgable., nothing is ever too much, Carmelo and Nerino are two authentic Italians who make you feel like your sitting in the middle of Sorento. They always pick us lovely wines. Such gentlemen. This is the place to go for real authentic Italian food . Keep up the hard work.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe dined as a family at the Sultan on Sunday evening and it was fabulous. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive and the food was excellent and good value. We will be back!
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterWhen theirs a box after you make a reservation about special requests I alway put in we require a high chair at the table for my child and quite a lot of places never get this sorted !
