Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Scotch egg and chowder starter, no complaints at either end (I just wished there had been more of it). Chicken arrabiata and mushroom risotto for many. Both really tasty, only issue was the texture of the risotto being a bit too claggy. Would recommend and would definitely come back

No vegan starter and only sorbet for dessert, with an old fashioned veggie burger and vegan kofta for mains. Must try harder, there is an incredible range of vegan food out there now, there is no excuse, lazy, but at least it wasn't jacket potato and beans, so there's that. Cant fault the service or the setting but the price was incredibly steep and not worth it for what we got. Shall not be returning for food but would go back for a drink.
