Astoria – BurnleyFood was excellent. Lovely restaurant. Will definitely go back.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFriendly staff, food was awesome, haven’t been out for such a long time and was an amazing experience
The Lodge – LancasterGood range of vegetarian options. We were very happy with our choices. It would be nice if the chef included a veggie option in his specials though. Would also ask that if candles are put on the table that they be lit - it’s our restaurant pet hate. Would definitely go again if in the area.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterExcellent food in comfortable surroundings. V good service.
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe needed somewhere to stop on our 1 day return trip to Manchester airport to collect a dog. As we aren't from the area we didn't know there wasn't parking. Food was very good and prompt service. Good price too. If we lived in area we would return. And the biggest plus for us we could take the dog in.
The Waterwitch – LancasterMy husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a fabulous meal. The food, service and atmosphere were just perfect. I want to specially mention Dora our waitress who was so lovely and attentive and to the owner for her kind gift of cake to finish our celebrations off. We will be back for sure.
Toms Table – ClitheroeThe website does not mention the fact this restaurant is unlicensed. Food quality poor : chutney plate consisted of tinned sauces. Main dishes sauced in a suspiciously similar way, hard to see what lay underneath.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterWhins always meets our expectations. The location is stunning, the food is exceptional and the staff are excellent. Looking forward to our next visit already!
Whins Green KitchenHad a meal here on a Wednesday night. Because of covid we haven't been back to the dog inn for a while. We had a lovely time, the food was top class and was served by a very friendly and efficient young lady. The chef was great he even changed some of the ingredients in my wife's dish to her liking ! Can't recommend this restaurant enough!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnFabulous vegan meal. Really tasty food. Great menu choice. Lovely setting and friendly service. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to our next visit.
Whins Green KitchenEverything was perfect!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent food and service.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkBooking was easy, the welcome was warm and friendly. The food was lovely and the service especially from Sam was first class.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFirst time we have been but had a fantastic experience. Great food, brilliant service, will be going again soon. Huge recommendation. It was late afternoon on a Thursday so only another couple of people so can't score atmosphere properly.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallNot been here for many years, spare of the moment decision so was initially impressed with the online booking system despite the 'blunt' telephone message. Great quality food, didn't disappoint, nice service; will definitely return.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely Food, wonderful setting , great staff!!
Whins Green KitchenHave visited quite a few times now and it's good. Overall it's in an amazing building (worth a visit for this) with very nice staff and excellent food. My major criticism is the lack of a substantial vegetarian or vegan main course dish for the Sunday lunch. Even the meat option had no veg included and just came with a few chips. All the verdure dishes are really nice and it's easy enough to ask them to be made dairy free, especially when the serving staff are attentive and helpful. But really, I'm totally bored of the menu now. I knew what I was in for before my most recent visit but I still couldn't help feeling disappointed at the lack of creativity, especially when even Gregg's can cater multiple items for vegans these days. I won't bother coming for food again as I have voiced this before and it really feels like my opinion/custom is not valued. A real shame as it's hands down the best food and space to eat locally. If you eat everything, great, but don't expect your veggie and vegan friends to be that excited past their first visit. Also, the bread and oil is a total rip off.
