We enjoyed a delicious relaxing breakfast yesterday on the terrace. A large party inside didn’t affect its quality or the attentive friendly service. We’ll certainly return.

Whins Green KitchenThe service is great at the lodge but the food is even better. Good selection of drinks and a nice building with great outdoor area .
The Lodge – LancasterGreat place , lovely meal , brilliant staff ,service excellent . haven't been here for a few years but after the lovely meal we had today will be a regular again ,outside area were we sat was excellent partly covered if weather not to good and all lit up when it started to go dark .
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAttended with 12 12 years old for an end of season meal and everything was just perfect nothing was too much fir the staff the food was amazing the staff were lovely the atmosphere was lovely and didn’t feel rushed will definitely return
Papa Luigis – ChorleyThese were the dishes we ordered: Fritto misto (fried seafood /fish) Panella (chickpea fritters) Crostino de queso picante (a goats’ cheese dish with marmalade) Cheese garlic bread patatas bravas garlic mushrooms Albondigas de Andalucia - ( meatballs) Ensalata Verde Mushroom risotto (this was a special) I didn’t try all the things that we ordered but overall I think we all felt that the food was excellent. It felt like they really cared about the food. I actually feel like having it all again tonight. We all enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.
Astoria – BurnleyWe had a very pleasant meal, smart and friendly staff, lovely decor, very efficient, we will definitely be back!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThe setting is fantastic , we came here for an afternoon tea for my daughters bday and whilst the food was nice I must say for less money (19.95 each) than I paid on this visit we have eaten a lot better variety (half a pasty and half a hummous wrap for savoury) and amount not only local to whins but also London and York . I’ve eaten here previously and the mains and sides are amazing I feel this tea let you down . The waiting on staff were truly lovely and deserve a special mention as Antonio and the young blonde man served us faultlessly and I would return again because of their service .
Whins Green KitchenLynne and I are delighted to support a true Community Pub. We were made very welcome, the food was excellent, the drinks very good value for money and the service was attentive without being obsequious. Lovely location overlooking the Pennine Moors from the heart of Belthorn village. We love walking in this area and will definitely return to the Dog Inn!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnOur happy place, we love visiting Verdes and have done since our boys were little nd now they are grown men and bring their families, never changed just got better,
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyThird visit since reopening, both our selections of Turbot and Fillet Steak were well presented and beautifully cooked. Good value for money, will be back. All staff pleasant and friendly.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAmazing food as always.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyVery nice child free day yesterday and decided on the water witch for our lunch, easy to prebook and glad we did as it did get busy. Great set up with the one way system and hand sanitizer, staff very friendly and attentive. One strange thing was we were asked to pay before we’d eaten, which we’ve never had before, maybe as we were sat outside people have been leaving without paying? It wasn’t a problem but just seemed strange. Food really nice apart from onion rings which were very greasy, I did tell the waitress and expected this to be taken off our bill but it never was. Also we had ice cream for desert which we were expecting to come in cones but came in little cups, again not a problem but it didn’t say this on the ice cream board. Overall 4/5. Would visit again.
The Waterwitch – LancasterLove coming here the food never disappoints even if the weather does, booked in for afternoon tea mid-August so hopefully we can dine outside.
Whins Green KitchenThe food was amazing, but the serve was poor. We went in as a group of 5, out of our orders 2 items were missed off the order. We advised the waiter of this, it took a further 20.mins to get the missed items replaced. We had to ask 3 times for the bill, which took around 1 hour to get the bill qnd pay. Wouldn't go back too busy and not enough staff!
The Waterwitch – LancasterWe really enjoyed our meal at The Lodge. The staff were really friendly, professional and attentive. The food was delicious and in my opinion was good value for money. The atmosphere too made it a really lovely experience.
The Lodge – LancasterTook my 87 year olds parents for a meal at Astoria on Saturday 10/07, from entering the restaurant we were looked after by a team of extremely friendly and courteous staff. The food was exceptional quality and the service was faultless. We all had a fab evening in lovely surroundings, the ambience and atmosphere were spot on. Thank you Astoria, we will definitely be back.
