We had a fantastic meal at Astoria. The restaurant staff are lovely and the food amazing! My only moan is how cold it was inside but they put the heating on as they sat us down. Warmed up in 15 mins but would be better if the restaurant had been heated before we arrived as we had booked and they were expecting us! Despite this 5* all round and would highly recommend a visit!

Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyPlease do not eat here. When small fish and chips arrived I asked if it was a child portion!!! I was required to pay before the food arrived and then when questioned the food, was told this is what we do. Stay away as the food is cheap ! Took a photo but can’t upload! Loads of single men not showing any signs or social distancing!!!

The Dog Inn – BlackburnOur first visit to Whins Green and have just booked to go again! We weren’t really sure what to expect but the setting is gorgeous (despite the rain during our visit), the food was absolutely delicious and the staff very helpful. We were able to talk to other guests and see what they were having and so got to see quite a large proportion of the lunchtime menu, it all looked fantastic and (we were told) tasted amazing. A great addition to local eateries.

Whins Green KitchenMy husband and I visited Astoria on Sunday 4th October, both of us miserable as out Turkish holiday had just been cancelled. The authentic atmosphere went along way to apease our mood. Every necessary Covid measure was followed and we both had an excellent meal and felt well looked after by all the staff.

We followed with the substantial Sunday dinner and the Cheese Pie, both of which were really tasty and very filling. The bill was a very pleasant surprise. The views from our table were amazing too. Will definitely revisit soon.

Astoria – BurnleyI’m not one for writing reviews but I really feel that the team a the Dog Inn deserve one . Visited her on Saturday Evening on the 3rd October. I ordered garlic mushrooms and My husband ordered the salt and pepper ribs to start. The starters arrived presentation was good the mushrooms were the best Iv tasted in a long time really yummy, my husband had ribs and he said they were very meaty and the spices were perfect and very tasty. We both had the brisket ,it melted in your mouth with a smoked taste just yummy and a very good portion size, defiantly recommend it. We finished our meal with a shared Eaton mess with homemade meringue,chantilly cream and blackberries it was not too sweet, really well balanced perfect and very yummy. Staff were very friendly and It had a good atmosphere. The bar staff came to your table for your drinks order due to the Covid restrictions but worked really well she was very happy and helpful. It’s a hidden gem but definitely worth a visit . Can’t wait to return .
