Very warm and welcoming, social distancing and covid rules followed by very friendly staff. Food excellent , we had cod back and haddock and chips, followed by sticky toffee pudding. Will definitely be returning, highly recommend.

Fabulous, food, atmosphere. Had a wonderful evening. Garlic bread amazing. My dad’s 80th birthday meal made so special by the staff.

Been dining at Papas for 25 years. Never yet had a disappointing meal. Service excellent, Food fantastic. And run really well under new rules and restrictions. Couldn’t better it.

Just had lunch at this lovely place. Very pretty location. The food is lovely and fresh. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have been very thoughtful regarding to Covid. Each table has its own glass screen with waitress only service. We felt very safe and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff.

I had a lovely birthday breakfast with my daughter. The food was delicious, the staff very attentive and the view and ambiance were delightful.

Amazing food, stunning building.. happy, friendly staff. Even looked after us by ordering a taxi for us leaving. The gentleman called Mo was particularly friendly and could not do enough for us. Would definitely visit again and would definitely recommend.

Can’t comment on the food as the service was so poor after half an hour of waiting no one came to take our order despite not being busy and lots of staff stood round the till and having took drink order, brought drinks out and we had finished them. I went and paid for drinks and young lad told me, why didn’t you just come and get someone. I told him I tried to get attention several times but they were too busy yapping. Shame as food looked nice but kids were hungry and wanted to leave.

Lovely food again ....really tasty Great service and friendly Sat in bar but would prefer the restaurant due to dogs barking - love dogs so not a huge issue Lovely experience overall

Mum and myself have been to Whins Green several times now and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Delicious and interesting veggie food in a relaxing setting, with a lovely view and friendly service. A real tonic for these strange times we are in.

Had Sunday tea here with the family. The food is excellent. The scallop starter one of the very best I've ever had. The boys have created something quite special in this little community pub

My friend and I had the two course lunch and it was absolutely wonderful. So tasty , beautifully presented and well worth a visit. It was busy when we went and we did have to wait a while to be served but we just enjoyed the views while we waited. Can't wait to go again.

A rare treat to have a 100% veggie/ vegan place to eat that’s in a beautiful setting, no city centre driving and parking required! The views are stunning, making it all feel relaxing. The food is always excellent, we had mushroom wellington and vegan fish and chips. Would love Whins to open in the evenings.
