We came to the Water Witch for our first pub lunch after Lockdown 3. We ordered fish and chips, a few pints, and desserts. The food was beautiful and the staff were very attentive considering how busy they were. We were also pleasantly surprised by the newly painted benches/tables and how clean the toilets were. Highly recommend.

We ordered two sandwiches with sides and drinks and they arrived quickly and were presented really well. Excellent value for money and great service. Would recommend booking like we did as some people were disappointed to be turned away as walk-ins but the place was very busy in the sunshine!!

The Waterwitch – LancasterLooking forward to this as was first meal out after lockdown - slightly disappointed.... drinks limited and then wrong wine served ( white not rose) 3 meal options taken and then not available!! Ordered beef roast to be told after 10 mins none left so ordered cheeseburger- they then brought a lamb roast and charged us for that instead of the burger!!! The Sunday roast was amazing although overpriced but the burger and chips portion was tiny... A bit of improvement needed but understand things are difficult at the moment .

The Lodge – LancasterBrilliant atmosphere, really nice facility’s and the food was absolutely amazing ! However my only negative thought was the waiting times, we asked a server if we can order more drinks half an hour before we where due to leave but nobody came so we just had to finish.

The Waterwitch – LancasterGreat to be back and the staff were brilliant. Although I appreciate that its is difficult to offer the full menu, I was slightly disappointed with range of food. It used to be a much more exciting range of options not just standard pub choices of scampi, fish, burger etc. It is our local so we will obviously be back, just wish the food options were a tad more varied as it used to be.

We sat at the back on the balcony its a little sun trap and has such nice views. Mark the chef always accommodates my son and our dietary needs he's great. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
