We've been here twice and have really enjoyed the experience both times. Once was a beautiful day so we sat in the back enjoying the view and the second was a rainy day so we sat in the cosy pub area. Both times we were greeted by the friendly staff and our dog was given lots of cuddles and attention. The food is excellent, we were particularly impressed with the leek and potato soup served alongside our sandwiches which came with crisps on top! We'll definitely be regulars at The Dog Inn!

Always eat here when in the area. Great food, brilliant staff, a great atmosphere and a feeling of a safe environment. Can’t recommend this place enough. Views to die for too.

Lovely meal and friendly staff. No social distancing however which was a bit of a shame. We were OK due to the way we were facing but it was less than 1 mtr.

Very busy at the time we arrived however soon settled at our table by a pleasant and efficient waitress which we found later to be only her 2nd week. We thoroughly enjoyed the full three courses and from three individuals having all different meals this was a bonus. The only recrimination was we felt for vegan / vegetarian food it was rather dear but for the quality, grin and bear it. We will definitely be going again but perhaps not as often as we would have liked.

Lovely food, staff are friendly and helpful.. Service is amazing nothing is to much trouble, quick service. Food is yummy and served beautifully. Value for money if you have not been, book now well worth a visit.

We had a really lovely time. It was our first meal out since lockdown. It was clear where to walk and the staff were so friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and we're looking forward to going again.

Been a few times now for breakfast and dinner, quality food clearly marked vegan which is hugely important to me. Friendly staff and a stunning view to boot. Good choice of plant based meats as well as traditional veggie food. Large choice of desserts and the best vegan ice cream on the market.Highly recommended

The food is good! This is the second time I’ve been and both times I cannot fault the food at all. My friend and I aren’t veggie or vegan but Like to try different things and the food was really tasty. The brownie I had for dessert was to die for! However, the service left a lot to be desired. I had two courses as part of a deal and my friend just the one. We only had one drink each and we were there for almost two and a half hours! We couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask for a spoon when we weren’t given one (my friend was eating soup!) and she just had to sit with it in front of her without a spoon. It took ages for our plates to be cleared and then THREE attempts at asking for the bill before it came. Twice to the same person and once to another. By this time we were in a rush to go, she was only here for the day and I had a baby to get back to and it just felt disappointing really. If it weren’t for the service the review would have been positive. The location is really nice and the building and decor is too, a shame really. I wouldn’t recommend.
